Thanks for this video. How does the lens do in low light? Are you able to find yourself being able to shoot at a much lower ISO?

did you use 1-erea autofocus or 49-erea autofocus, or any other focus option?

niloCT Yes it’s ok for vlogs! Very sharp and fast in AFC mode!

Pro Speedflying this lens is made not for manual auto focus, if you need a great and cheaper manual lens buy from Samayang :)

The color grading is really nice. Wonder if he used a LUT. The video got downvotes I think because of the lack of interesting and cinematic camera angles and camera movements, as well a meh editing. I still liked the video tho

I was impressed by the autofocus performance demonstrated here! I have the same lens since a few days and I must say, in combination with my Panasonic g9 this lens has a very slow autofocus so that it’s just impossible to film objects with changing distance to the camera! Which autofocus settings do you have on your GH5?!

Vladislav Ihl Sorry for hear this, that means G9 is not good friend with this lens. I used AFC setting.

Cross Studio , thank you! In the meantime I tried out another Sigma 16mm f1.4 with my camera and this lens works with my G9 like a native glass!

Pablo aperture 1/50 I'm using PAL system because I live in Europe. For NTFS try 1/60. Good luck!

A bit slow, but accurate and not those over the top focus wobbling, i see quite often with AF lenses.

This lens looked good till I realized its a 32mm on the native mount. wayyyy too close for vlogging :( sucks because this could have been an amazing lens.

Thats how it is with all lenses on a M4/3 camera. You take the actual focal length (16mm for this lens) and times it by 2 to get the actual focal length on the tiny M4/3 cameras. If you want full 16mm focal length on such a small sensor that is a GH5, you have to add a Metabones speedbooster, and put on a full frame Canon mount version of the Sigma 16mm. Then you get the full 16mm wide.

So when Im shopping ofr native M4/3 lenses, I just get a lens thats twice as wide as I want. Luckily MFT lenses aren't super expensive so It's not much more.
