PANCIT CANTON is a Filipino noodle dish that made out of pancit canton noodles with sautéed garlic and onion, simmered in savory sauce of pork broth with snow peas, carrots, oyster sauce, with fried shrimps and pork belly as a toppings. A little cornstarch is added to thicken up the sauce. And a squeeze of calamansi to add some citrus flavor.
Filipinos usually serve it during birthday party or any special occasion as a sign of long life.

Adding cornstarch slurry is the classic , best pansit canton ever! Most you tubers don't do that anymore and I'm glad to know you The real way to do it.

I’m Cantonese. We call it chow mein 炒麵. The recipe looks almost like ours maybe except the snow peas.

Marami akong pinanuod na video kung paano lutuin ang pancit canton. So far, ito yata ang pinaka-original, lalo na sa ingredients! Iyung iba kasi kung anu-ano pa ang hinahalo gaya ng tofu, kikiam at fishball na para sa aking personal na opinion, ini-iba sa original na lasa ng pancit canton. Salamat! :)
