Hello Dr Evan’s thanks for your time to excellent presentation I am a pancreatic cancer patient stage 2 had surgery and chemotherapy what is prognosis for this kind of patient and what can be done not to have cancer back i was diagnosed in 2023 in November 2024 will be 1 year thanks Doctor

yes this is great information. i enjoy hearing what this presentation was all about. I am glad that you have gotten to talk about this. i have done a lot of research support is already found when you are getting more resources, and having people that have loved ones that are going thru this

Hello from Scotland. I was recently found to have a 3cm mucinous neoplasm on the tail of my pancreas. I’m 55 and don’t smoke or drink. It was spotted during a CT scan on my thymus. I do have myasthenia gravis. How sad it’s there without having a symptom. I have no symptoms and feel fine.

I hope everythig goes fine. My mom was recently diagnosed with head pancreatic cancer, but could not do the surgery due to what he said in the video, the vessels.

@@shefalibhasin6909 nothing as yet. I have to lose at least a stone in weight before they will operate. I have been told I will be losing half my pancreas and my spleen when they do operate. Between now and then I hope the neoplasm doesn’t start to change. I weigh 93kg and they said if they has to operate I only had a 5% chance of survival. I found that very scary.

Sir need ur opinion. After surgery my dad faced issue of bile leak. After second surgery if that happens again then what should we do?? Doctor suggested to wait for next 4 days (pancreas and bile duct stitches were broken after first surgery).

A leak is a technical problem of this complex operation and unfortunately is associated with delayed recovery. Surely your doctor knows how to mange it usually by external drainage, nutritional support and monitoring for infection, called watchful waiting. Hopefully it will settle over time.
