i came to see the man who is married to the next Associate Justice of the SCOTUS. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. He seems like a kind and soft-spoken person. May God continue to BLESS Dr. Jackson, his lovely family, and all of his endeavors.

The doctor looks competent, professional and kind. His information is very helpful for a friend of mine who has been diagnosed as having pancreatic cancer and is now worried about what she should do. And it is clear to me now what I should tell her.

Dr. Jackson is competent, thorough, professional and kind. When you are hospitalized and ill nothing is more reassuring than to have the assurance that your doctor is direct, honest and cautious. The facts are: 1) he is knowledgeable 2)patient and 3) he leaves no matter of treatment to any degree of risk. He leads a well organized team. It is obvious that excellence and an aherence to the highest standards are required. Despite his kind nature it is evident that he is painstakingly exact and probably very demanding of the surgical team that he leads. Dr. Jackson is exceptional in comparison to any and all doctors. He is world class and I know that in the future we will see him in the same capacity as surgeons such as Dr. Ben Carson. He genuinely cares about people. He knows his patients in detail throughout treatment and prioritizes their need for healing. A true genius can use all functions of their brain. Dr. Jackson possesses the depth, breadth and mastery of his field of knowledge(specialty) and the ability to extend an exceptional degree of understanding and compassion for his patients. He is hands down CHOSEN for his profession. I did not have a matter related to pancreatic cancer, but for any surgery that falls under his purview, it is prudent to choose Dr. Jackson. His hands are blessed and he is a blessing!!! My absolute most trusted and favorite doctor in the world!

I had a NeuroEndocrine cancer in 2012. They removed the tail of the pancreas and my spleen. Now, there are " numerous" things growing in the front but not big enough to biopsy. My surgeon now says they are " probably just cysts " and I don't Need a yearly MRI. I WANT a yearly MRI. I need those biopsies and need to know when as soon as these areas are big enough to biopsy. What option do I have? A second opinion? That is what I think.

One of your colleagues, Dr Umed Shah, got me into the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore on 23 April 2015, as Medstar-Georgetown had no openings. The diagnosis on 14 May, after a couple months of investigation (started with my PCP on 23 March), was a Stage IB adenocarcinoma in the head of the pancreas, which was confined and well defined. I qualified for a Whipple (performed by Dr H Richard Alexander and his team) without needing chemo or radiation beforehand. I had a chemo regimen after the pylorus preserving Whipple from mid-July to mid-December 2015 as the tumor had grown to Stage IIB with clear margins and 4 nodes suspected. As of today, there is no know evidence of recurrence.

@@kanhaiyasabharwaladvocate1743 Yes, I am and thank you for the well wishes. As of my last follow up on 19 May 2021, I continue to show no evidence of disease, which can be connected to the cancer. A few other areas of concern, but they are being addressed.
