Lagendary Esraj player Pandit Ranadhir Roy ( a.k.a. Tuku-Da ) 's Raag Bihag, Alap, Vilambit Tintal & Drut Sitarkhani gat. Fantastic performance.

I recorded my guruji (Pt. Ranadhir Roy) performance of Raag Bihag in his new house on 1988.
I used Sony Professional Walkman cassette recorder & high quality metal position cassette tape.
It has been mastered by Logic Pro X DAW. It added EQ adjastment & a bit of IR reverb, compressor & limiter.

Tukuda used to come to our home at Santiniketan and will play using my dad's and my uncles esraj, reminding me of those days, indeed hard to find such fine emusician! Many thanks for uploading

We frequently use the word untimely deatth. But it is really untimely death of this legend who could reach this rare instrument to the world. Any how we are trying to maintain the legacy of Asesh Banerjee and his most precious student Tukuda. 🙏

I went to Kolkata with Tukuda by Shantitniketan Express in order to attend his concert. But that was his last concert. Very sad. I prepared to invite to Japan for his concert tour in 1989.
