Did you ever notice that the same music that applies to the ocean could also be used to express the beauty of the skies, or the mysteries of outer space? There are captains and ships in literature and film that explore the limits of the universe just as there are that voyage on the freedom of the waters... I love that. It's as it should be.

Ok I'm not talking piracy lol I grew up on the lakes, my husband served on a Navy carrier. I'm talking about the freedom you feel when you're on the open water or standing on the shoreline with an eye on the horizon. Or diving down deep to places untouched by man and exploring.

The sea is filled with spellbinding wonders and beyonds for the mankind to unearth, but also the ruthless threats await us. From stones and sticks to bloom tools and gearwork, we, mankind, have fared over the seas, swayed over the steppes and waded over the woodlands. Trying to make out what lay below, the diver searched the unyielding waters, before finally plunging down into the deep depths. A world of glorious colour met his eyes; coral as pink as roses, seaweed as green as glittering emeralds, the seabed a vivid rainbow of colour and the sea a pure, deep, shimmering sapphire. Swimming further downwards, he felt so free, like everything above the ocean was merely a dream. As he took in his surroundings properly, he couldn't help feeling emotional. His partner, Elle, would've loved this. It was always her dream to explore the sea as she said it was like a whole other world that no man would ever truly know. With slightly shaking hands, the diver slid the thin gold band off his finger and placed it in the centre of the seabed, where it caught the light of the sun just right, and sent a golden wave of colour across the ocean floor. He smiled to himself; it almost felt like she was still there with him.
