I recently found myself in Nice and wanted to make something that was as beautiful as the French Riviera and as lightly crunchy as stepping on the stones of the Promenade des Anglais.

I'm Creole my SO is Mexican,,,, Boy I turn these suckers into MANY MANY awesome tasting treats. I used to eat them in New Orleans when little, dipped into a variety of sauces. Now SO MANY POSSIBILITIES . Loved your vid

One of my favorite things to make! I often add some red pepper flakes or some herbes de provence. It's also fun to play around with difference shapes. I have a star-shaped cookie cutter that I use for panisses around Christmastime. Corny, I know.

That’s great! I love hearing about different variations. I made mine in long pieces as an ode to the restaurant I worked at where we made them…but I know there other fun options out there! Cheers!

Cup,, quart, spoon, glug ! do you not think it would make it more international to use the metric system. I notice you are using 500grams of chickpea flour.

To be honest the traffic is so low on my channel I wonder if anyone even really uses my videos for the recipe. But I hear your frustration. Give me a day or two and I’ll update the recipe in the description. But there will still be the occasion where I still use approximate language as I am a firm believer often recipes are not written in stone and that learning to embrace intuition in cooking is important for growth.
