The streets around Panjim's Church Square, the Praça da Igreja, are lined with shops for both residents and tourists. This is the first of a series of Panjim shopping street videos, from Panjim Church to Panjim Church via Dr Atmaram Borkar Road and 18 June Road. The significance of 18 June is this is the anniversary of Goa's independence revolution day. This road has become one of the most popular shopping boulevards in Goa's capital, home not only to all kinds of shops but also famous cafes and restaurants both old and new, such as Cafe Aram, Ritz Classic, Kailash Parbat and Karim's.
We begin our walk at Panjim Church Square, then turn onto Dr Atmaram Borkar Road. Take General Costa Alvares Road connecting Dr Atmaram Borkar Road and 18 June Road. Then we follow 18 June Road back to Panjim Church Square.
