And it was simpler back then. Lyrics you could understand, and no sub-sub-sub-sub genres of rock that are most confusing now. Punks and Metalheads hung out together

The ending v/os for the "Fade to Black" movie ad, Valvolene and Jesse Jeans ads, the Orange County Register of Voters ad and the KNBC Station ID were v/o by the late Victor Bozeman.

Pat Benatar was about as "new wave" as Jethro Tull was 'heavy metal". Leave it to K-Tel to confuse the genres! I recall "Chipmunk Punk" having the Chipmunks singing the Police, "Don't Stand So Close to Me"🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, REAL punk!🤣🤣🤣

LOL! I was thinking the same thing! Sounds like Australians who were trying to do an American accent, but they were from North Carolina. Very odd accent.

@@brentmann2988 You got to understand--NC is right off the coast from Britain so its a mix of your standard Southern accent with the Cockney English, so you have people saying the word "No" as "neaau" or "so" as "sayou"--or not pronouncing their "Rs"!
