I was flabbergasted when I saw an LFG saying “new to raiding need someone to net limit pantheon bosses”. Like that’s a whole new low. And especially on rhulk week when it’s so easy to knock him off the map

It's the "How many people got a mic?" That kills me because people will claim they dont have a mic or say its broken just to get away from doing a task lol....yes finally someone on youtube said it please stop strafing in the well 😂

The amount of people who can't add clear correctly is honestly astonishing. For some unknown reason left side on planets gets flooded by ads to an extreme degree. Most of the time even if your team can do the mechanic correctly people who do the mechanic correctly die in the front consistently because the people who are supposed to be add clearing can't do it quickly or efficiently enough. but anytime I add clear there. I do it so efficiently that I actually get bored because I kill the ads too quickly. I'm not even doing anything special I'm just using wither horde, sunshot or Zaouli’s Bane. Really makes you think, how some people got this far to begin with.....

And the people who do addclear dont even do it well enough. They have no idea where enemies spawn and they just let them roam around everywhere. They are SO BAD. Thats why i personally ask for a raid report every time.

I try to join and ask if I can learn to know roles and they say jus ad clear so I instead join after watching a guide and if I mess up then I learn but then I can actually master my understanding of the mechanics

I spent more time on planets than i did on week 1 & 2 COMBINED. Me and the other guy running for 1-3 never messed up, it was always ad clear and 4-6 and when it came to damage i and one other were the only ones to consistently get 1.4-2 million damage before wiping. I’m giving it another try tomorrow

Thanks for helping newer guardians challenge the endgame content, one thing I would suggest though is being the change you wish to see when it comes to LFG. If your group is stuck dont hesitate to look up guides or try different weapons and suggestions so everyone can help the team get the clear. 1 buff ex. Well or Bubble 1 debuff ex. Tether, Divinity, or Tractor Cannon Use all your supers for boss damage phases 🙂 Understand how long each damage phase is so you can do your best damage just like Squatch mentioned in this video.

the problem isn't just people not wanting to learn the encounter, its people not wanting to put up with people learning the encounter, me included because its frustrating with new learners, especially if the encounter isn't explained correctly or to the degree it should be, anything that someone might not be familiar with WILL cause hiccups and if that person can't solo the encounter in one attempt its instant backlash, even the easiest encounters can take some time to learn and get a pattern going, I understand where you're coming from, but sometimes its just easier to let them do add clear, although if they can't even do that right then I'd say its fair grounds for the boot.

A month of blood sweat and tears but back in the day I did SHADOW with lfgs on the first rotation. Nowadays with this LFG we can’t announce wich CP we are at , I hate the interface , GODSLAYER in 2024 with LFG is just a nightmare

Exactly what you said about the planets part, is why i'm glad I usually raid with the same set of friends. We might struggle sometimes bc ppl die from dumb things, miss shots, etc. But otherwise planets itself is fairly easy as long as you have a reliable set up and weapons. For those of you out there who play as a warlock and have sunbracers. Look up the set up with them, it makes all of the add clearing a piece of cake and helps with boss dps if you can manage to activate it during dps phase.

As a player who use to have a group and has done all the raids multiple times and now is a solo dolo I will not be dragging anyones team down lol. I just came back last month after a lllooonnngg break... Saw pantheon and was like "nope" lol.

Honestly the issue I had when LFGing Pantheon week 2 was people either not going in with their best gear, not putting mods to help them survive or just getting into sync with the rest of the fireteam. And as for planets on LFG, well the biggest issues were the add clear doing a bad job, especially when we were depositing the planets, or just a surprise fire tornado spawning on us.

Doing Rhulk this weekend and seeing half my team die 2-3 times per damage phase to the clone really showed me how trash a lot of my clanmates are, lol.

The way that LFG is set up is ok but you're exactly right in that they need to enable a way to write descriptions so you can say where you are!!!

Planets problem is people not knowing the encounter it's the dps check people struggle to 2 phase

I did Atraks on week one and I agree. Planets is the hardest. My team cleared Golgo and Caretaker pretty easily and Atraks didn't take that long either but planets took us about 2 hours.

Done week 3 all plat so far through LFG. Prayers up for week 4! I want the title and have done all the available raids except GOS so I feel like it’s possible!

I haven't done a raid since Leviathan, I somehow lucked out and got a really good team on my second pantheon run, really chill people. They taught me a lot, I had seen a couple guides but, having someone right there in your fireteam telling you what and how to do something is probably the easiest way to learn the encounters. Something funny I have noticed with Macrocosm is that people have a plate that they just love; bottom right plate in my case. For some reason I just love starting the encounter there.

this is why even tho I'm one of the carry sherpa guys in my crew i force the new guys to do mechanics so they actually learn

I honestly rather do add clear if I don’t know the mechanic that well but I actually do ad clear and bring dps so I actually contribute and I don’t speak cause I have a fiancé and baby that need to sleep so that’s my reason but if someone was willing to teach me exactly what to do I think I’ll be able to do it

I’ve been saying that we need Raid Matchmaking so that people are actually playing the Raids atleast. It will be hard to matchmake and clear the Raid but it gets people to play it.

Planets is simple, however, from what I feel, I think planets is not a mechanic check but a dps check, cause I swear that made that boss tankier, XD, what I think will be a mechanic check is 100% riven, it’s easy to do and easy to 1 phase, but requires good communication, like my group who never did riven legit, it took us 6 runs to get the hang of it

The irony of planets is most of the difficulty comes from the ads, at least in week 3. Plate runners almost always do fine but most wiped I've had came from running out of resses because "ad clear" left like 20 psions alive before dps.

One of the people in my friend group is literally just an ad clear Andy because every raid we ever do he is ad clear and never learns mechanics unless the encounter physically can't have an ad clear. So basically I hope the next raid has no ad clear role so he can suffer for putting us through his shit

The only pantheon i bothered doing was week 1 for the cool emblem. The first team i tried with was a team of four friends who literally couldnt do ANYTHING. Me and the other random were on stun for caretaker and we did it perfectly. The runners kept failing and the ad clearers couldnt ad clear. Me and the random switched to running and obviously we finished it so quickly the team of 4 were actually surprised. But they couldnt stun for shit and ads were still a problem. They couldnt even do good damage. Genuinely insane. They can't even ad clear.

I just love how every single time without fail I joined a pantheon lfg, 5/6 people, the very first thing I hear is “Hey do you know how to do Gaze?” Like come on man. I really don’t mind it but sometimes I really do just wanna do damage. And one time where I just said no, I was top for damage so I know that would have made those runs a lot more clean. Heck one time I joined in as the 6th member and they got me as gaze, then asked for who can run it with me. Like how out of 5 people did you not even have one person doing it????

As an add clear andy for these raids I appreciate the people who do the mechanics. I have over 200 raid clears in d2 but stopped playing after Garden of Salvation so before Pantheon I was not privy to any of the raids in it besides Kings Fall. However I’ve had a blast doing them but (since my 2 friends and rest of group wants the title) plat needs to be gotten for every encounter so not exactly the time for trying new things.

I think the main issue with pantheon has been an issue since Leviathan, most people that don't raid every week wants to just ad clear (I WILL say I also did ad clear but I ended up learning the entire RON raid by doing it duo with my friend though we did stop at planets I know how it works) but the LFG system is also terrible as most people that haven't done Week 1/2/3 or 4 wants to just ad clear not really do anything if they never done any of them before when it's the best way to learn the mechanics for the raids that are in it, the reason why planets is the run killer for most LFG's is mainly due to ignorance and people being on autopilot which ends up costing DPS even though that was literally not an issue in the past encounter, I've said this in lfg's I've been in if you don't know the mechanics don't do pantheon alone get someone that knows the raids that can teach you so you know for the next run you do instead of being the weakest link on the fireteam, Might sound toxic but I haven't done panth since my week 3 clear because I'm tired of 3-6 hour runs to clear week 3 for plat when it should take max an hour if you mess up which will happen and I think most people are tired of having to deal with lfg's in general since most of the time someone joins you wipe 2 or 3 times and half the fireteam leaves and you are now stuck waiting for new people to join just to do the same process again, I'll end it with people that know they don't know mechanics or know that they'll cause wipes don't LFG find a clan or other people that are willing to carry you just because someone joins your post doesn't mean they want to carry and please use tags that fits YOUR experience not what you expect from everyone else if you don't know how to do the raids don't put experience required cuz then you are just begging to be carried

I did week two pantheon with my main team in two parts but they had done planets and when I joined they were in Atrax (beat the whole pantheon accounter) One of my bros said he’d help me so we tried to scavenge up some friends from our friends list and I was reading top level planets Our two add clears combined had more deaths than all 4 of us reading combined and omg after an hour I got a lil toxic lol Decided to lfg it and was lucky enough to find a group (after some replacing and some leaving) and we were like frame perfect on everything it was beautiful You can tell we all had enough of the shit lol

Checkpoints do exist they were just broken week 1, as for fresh lfgs they exist its just a matter of looking.

Yea ill just stick w/ my Rivensbane/Blacksmith and call it a day. I wont disagree on the fun-factor of Pantheon; its a great addition, albeit for a limited time. I finished week 1 in a reasonable amount of time and felt like I did not want to continue on w/ LFGs. Especially since I poured blood sweat and tears on getting Rivensbane. The problem I've had with planet is when you're on damage phase and everyone runs in front of you instead of behind you so you end up blowing yourself up and the most of the players are coming from PvP that's why they keep strafing in front of you

I try to learn %80 of any encounters

For RoN, I could run a plate on planets no problem. But with all raids, it's the traversal that kill me. In RoN, the traversal section that sends you back to the beginning, away from anyone to res you and puts you way behind, that's when I knew I would never run the full raid again. It punishes the weaker players and strands them all by themselves.

I feel like in -15 and -20 for Planets, and especially Nezarec you want your best players on add clear, theres so much bullshit on the screen that you actually need people who are add clearing to be on top of it so that the people running planets or nezarec nodes dont get shot at by 15 psions at -20 light level and just get murdered instantly, espeically nezarec colossuses.

What I'm going to say will seem crazy but it's totally true. approximately 4 days ago I was looking for people to complete week 3 of pantheon; because I couldn't do day one that week,there were 3 of us on the team and I posted a post asking for other 3 people and good damage to make a pantheon from the beginning, The fact is that another team of three was interested, the problem comes when we asked them what they knew how to do, first we asked them if they could do the gholgoroth mechanics, The awkward silence that came after that question was priceless, but hey, if they didn't know how to do the mechanics, it's okay, we taught them, then we asked them if they knew how to do the mechanics of the caretaker and another silence came, they didn't even know how to stun the boss (none of the three knew) From this point we already knew where everything was going to end, we asked them planets; didn't know it, Atraks? They only knew how to clean ads. The only encounter they knew of was oryx and that's because only one of them knew how to do the mechanics, We don't even ask them about rhulk anymore. I don't like to deny help to people who are just learning but... rhulk, week 3 and you haven't even done the previous ones?, We told them that we couldn't carry them and that if they wanted to do week 3 at least they should do the first week because after week three you really need to know what to do and then they left. It was a pretty awkward moment.

I remember joining lfgs for vog (d2 version) when that raid came out and people struggled to fucking count oracles and make simple callouts. That and people wanting to cheese Templar and/or Atheon, like why? They aren't hard bosses. I'm fortunate enough to have a regular raid group so I haven't had to venture into lfg for pantheon. I cannot imagine the shitshow it must be.

dont want to be throwing shade , but your loadout for dps is at best suboptimal. It looks like its a normal RoN run and for that it is ok still could be better if you want to be a someone who gets taken serious

And that is why if ur not looking on wasting ur time, LFG for a group that KWTFTD and don’t bother with the ones that drag the team down. Treat this the same way as schoolyard team picking. That’ll be one less issue to deal with.

People mostly stuck on Planets because they trying to get Platinum time and Highscore so they can get the triumph for the title.. Cant wait for next week when riven going to be added and Nezarec too, but this time Riven MUST be done the legit was cuz Bungie fixing the riven cheese for this :D Nezarec is not hard, and if the change will be a tormentor spawn than its fine, but legit riven is hard enough for LFGs without any changes XD I don't envy them at all ngl XD

Planets and nezzy week 4 were annoying with lfgs

Homies that have never touched a raid before are coming out to do the boss rush. You don't do a boss rush before playing through the base content in any other game, and it's making it a real pain in the anus for LFG teams. I was lucky to get week 1 done, and that along took at least 8 hours. I ain't finna do 6 or more bosses with randos that are absolute booty at mechanics and even... ad clear? No LFG team I've ever joined has had good ad clear. It's not even that hard? smh

All this work for a nine letter title and some emblems isn't that worth it with also having to push through hours and hours of lfg searching just to find teams that are full of toxic players who go into high end content and not know what to do at all. LFGING FOR RAIDS SUCKS but its the only way a single player can get into high end content without being apart of a clan or having access to sites and discords with people that know what they are doing.
