This show actuallyshows the writers not only know how to tell a good story but they put elbow grease into it. Everything in this show is hypothetically accurate. How on uploading your brain, it's not an excruciating process, that's exactly how you'll gradually lose function. The deadlock problem in concurrent programming that Casper talks about Discussion of Moore's law The work that goes into maintaining and building a server Even the philosophy of it all, the Great paradox of faith and free will. Every minute single detail in it is theoretical and applicable. It shows the writers really know what they were writing about and as someone studying Computer science and is a Christian. I appreciated every bit of it

One of the best plot/animation in recent years, absolute hidden gem. Season 2 Blew me away. It ended very well, but I would never say no to a season 3 revival.

honestly, I would. the story ended perfectly. anything after that wouldn't work. And its HIGHLY unlikely. I have no proof of this, but the second season just felt like they planed for a third season but didn't get that, so sped up the season to cram the third season into 2 episodes. We COULD have had a full season showing the development during the timeskip and spent more time in the future, but alas, we didn't get that. But I'm glad they got to finish the story. Not every good story can or should be extended past its life.

@@FelixM86 I think what they had in mind is completely different timelines reseting over and over while having the OG pantheon members doing different choices, ending up in different results, like Chanda being different from beginning etc, or Laurie surviving one time. That little nuances that give complete different results. Yet the final conclusion being somewhat inevitable and it has to be reseted again. So the ending would happen to be a great reset yet same characters shaping universe everytime it began a new, rediscovering themselves. Basically like gods, they are meant to be, trying to find meaning in the world they created.

The Show as a whole released in 2022 on AMC+. Amazon just bought the distribution rights and are moving it over to Prime Video.

It is such a shame that this show has gotten near no advertisement and its nearly impossible to find where to watch it. There are places though.... This show is on my top 5 of all time. Its not action heavy, its more cerebral, asking questions that might need to actually be answered one day. Oh and the feels. Literally cried two separate times during the 2 seasons.

This show's gonna be a cult classic for ages! It's legit one of my all-time faves, and when they dropped the news about Season 2 post-cancellation, I was hyped af. Sure, the second season was kinda bittersweet - knew it had to end, and the plot felt a bit rushed, but I'm just stoked they pulled it off and wrapped up the story! 🙌

To me, it's the greatest TV show ever made! I know a lot of people are not going to agree with me on that, since we've watched hits like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones; but it's been a long time since I've watched a series that had me engaged in its unique concept, and emotionally attached to fictional animated characters to such a strong degree. I agree that this will gain a cult following in the following years, much like Twin Peaks.

@@blue-phoenix115 yes i do. replicating ones conscious has nothing to do with immortality. we already replicate ourselves through dna and offspring. you are you father ultimately. i understand this is not a perfect reflection of the point you ar making with the concept of an absolute but that is ultimately. replication of oneself is simply external backup. it itself does not grant immortality your conscious is you the individual with in your flesh and blood. without this you cease to be. backing up your thoughts on a computer is simply the advanced version of keeping a diary. people in the past have also thought like you. they believed that doing something great would make them immortal because they would continue to live on in the memories of people. you idea of uploading your consciousess as immortality is just this eras philosophy of as long as their is something to remember me by i will never die. fortunately that is not realistic. you cannot separate yourself from you body. once you are gone you are gone. doesn't matter if you write a book, leave behind a video, have a great accomplishment, have a statue, or upload a backup of your memories on a computer, once you dead, you dead. no immortality. you can not and will not live forever. its all pseudo garbage philosophy.

Mortality isn't a meaningful term to a non-corporeal being. It makes instincts to eat, reproduce, and even survive all completely redundant. You could live subjective millennia in one day, or be switched off for millennia and not notice.

Was hard to watch this show in NA, so had to seek it out through other means. But this show is incredible!! Wish more people would talk about it. Binge season 1 and 2. Has some of the best character development I've seen. Also, the writing is like a solid 9 or 10 for sure. Would love a season 3 but I'm okay with season 2 ending as well. Amazon release this to other areas, please! This show is in my top 5 of best animated TV shows of all time. Did I even mention that voice acting and animation rivals anime fights?
