You say you don't know of another coating like Release, but isn't it the same as Gyeon Cure?

Hi pan, Trace here from TX USA. I have a black convertible fabric top that really stain that really need a good chemical to clean it up. I tried chemical guys type but it didn't do nothing to it. Can you recommend me to something to Clean io up.?

I was polishing and waxing my cars multiple times per year and it was getting tiring as i had 4 vehicles and lived in central texas where it rains a lot. My boss at the time just bought an audi a8 and had a professional ceramic coating applied. He took me with him to pick it up and see the shop and learn about the process. I was intrigued and started doing research, which is how I came across your channel. I have definitely learned a lot from you and appreciate all the testing you do on a vast number of products. I have applied about 15 coatings now, mostly on my cars, but a few of my friends. I have used mckees37, gyeon, adams, and carpro. Imo carpro products have been my favorite and perform at a high level. But above all, I learned that maintaining/washing the vehicle properly is the best way to keep it shiny. I only hand wash my cars, I have never let anyone else touch my cars. Not even when they go in for service. I tell them do not wash lol.

Won’t be available for us to buy unless we are installers of there products, if they bring out a version for consumers then I wouldn’t think it would be scratch resistant or swirl resistant

I think the longer tire dressing lasts, the harder it is to wash off. If the tires get dirty, does it matter how long it lasts?

@@timkinley1779 yes it matters because if I’m going to reapply every wash then dark side serves no purpose.

@@WesleySutton Let me explain my thinking differently. Unless you drive on roads with no debris, the tires are going to attract dust and dirt more so than any other part of the vehicle. If I'm cleaning the tires, I'm trying to get the gunk off of tires. The longer a dressing lasts, the harder it is going to be to remove once it's loaded up with funk.

@@timkinley1779 Does it matter if youre going to scrub the tires anyway? As long as the dressing doesn't turn into sludge, then the difference isn't noticeable.

Hard to say if that combo will remove Topper but if you use Topper as a drying aid after each wash, you’re replenishing the protection anyways so no worries.

Hi Sergio! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on KZfaq as we surpassed 990,000 subscribers and we have over 135 million views! If you had the coating applied 7 days ago, now you can start washing it when you want. If you can, wait another 7 days though, as I like to wait a full 2 weeks before washing a freshly ceramic coated car. You'll give the coating maximum curing that way, as coatings continue to cure for a few weeks after they're applied. After those two weeks, you can wash the car using CarPro Reset, and at the end of the wash process you can apply your first layer of CarPro Reload 2.0 if you want. From then on, reapply a layer of Reload at least once every 2-3 months for proper maintenance of your coating. Reload is like a stronger version of Hydro2 Lite. You can use Hydro2 Lite once a month perhaps, and the good thing about it is that it's great for wheels. Spray on, rinse off, boom. One month of protection. So either use Reload once every 2-3 months, or Hydro2 Lite once a month. Both accomplish the same thing: add protection on top of your coating.

Not really. Gyeon Cure is a silica spray sealant, more like CarPro Reload. Release is wax based, no ceramic.

Release is different from Q2 Wax. Not sure Gyeon recommends applying Q2 Wax on top of a freshly applied coating to avoid the 24 hours of curing... Release is a product that once applied (1 hour after the coating) the vehicle can be driven in the elements including rain. I haven't heard of any other product from other brands that does this. Release is to be applied on top of the professional coatings at CarPro (CarPro CQuartz Professional and CQuartz Finest Reserve). They don't mention the consumer grade coatings, but I heard it can be applied on top of CQuartz SiC. For the CQuartz UK 3.0 and CQuartz Lite consumer coatings, continue using CarPro Reload as the topper.

I'm assuming you're asking about DQuartz GO? The version consumers can buy? CarPro recommends to wash it regularly with CarPro Reset shampoo. And for maintenance, they recommend: 1) Occasionally (every 3 to 12 months depending on miles) decontaminate surface with CARPRO Iron X. Use during wash cycle (after Reset) and as directed. 2) Use CARPRO Reload every 3-12 months or as you prefer.

I am just not a fan of the look or feel or PPF. Plus, as I get a brand new car every three years, and do low yearly mileage, scratches and stone chips are of no concern to me. My cars are always pristine when I bring them back to the dealership. But for people who keep their cars for many years, and want the ultimate scratch and rock chip protection, PPF is the only solution. I would still recommend a ceramic coating on top of the PPF, for the best of both worlds. In your case, you would need to look for a matte PPF.

I would use the CarPro CQuartz 3.0 on all the painted surfaces. For plastics, use CarPro DLUX (wheel and plastics coating). DLUX will last much longer compared to just a dressing like CarPro PERL diluted 1:3 for exterior plastics. As the streetfighter is basically a red painted tank, with black plastic around it, it will be difficult to miss 😂👍

All CarPro says is that it's low VOC and quartz based...

I haven’t heard of it and did not test it.
