Welcome to our Home decor series part 2: Our pantry transformation!
It's 2022 and I thought that I would finally organise my pantry to feel like I have my life together this new year. Join me today as I transform our messy pantry to a neat, organised and aesthetically pleasing one. I also went to Kmart to buy most of the organisation supplies that I used here. It was so fun and satisfying to see the whole process of it! I hope you enjoy this! :)

This sounds and looks lovely. But to me there are a few real life issues. Firstly decanting everything means no use by labels, no cooking times etc. Although I did appreciate your suggestion to put that info on the bottom Also having to tip things like cereals into containers makes them go staler quicker plus spices lose their ability to easily sprinkle and what do you do when you have a new pack. Decant what you had and put the old on the new? There will always be mixing. Or the new packs in the pantry undecanted? Also what if you have new things that don't fit the pretty system? Or get a special on a canned good and have 10 more that don't fit. I did like the use of shelves within larger shelves. As I said it looks pretty but I can almost guarantee life in the real world won't keep it like that for long, especially with kids or multiple pantry users

We’ve also moved to a new home. The problem with me is that I’m old and my son has labelled me a serial hoarder. Ok, he’s right, but I’m going to try to organise and not hoard . We went to Kmart yesterday to get some ideas and today I found your channel. I have most of the items from Kmart already. I guess I needed some motivation. The other major problem I have is that I have many many pots, which is my main serialness 😂. My pantry is about double the size as yours. I am going to use your ideas, but I also would like to know how I can arrange my pots (the two pot drawers are full and I have about 25 in the pantry) Thank you for making this video.

I love your content, and love seeing fellow Melburnians🥰 Quick question: how have the square white-lidded containers from Aldi and K-Mart held up? Are they airtight?

Omg you are so sweet!!! 🥺🥺 thanks so much for watching! It really means so much to me 🤍 the Aldi and Kmart containers are holding up fine so far! And yes they’re airtight! The Aldi one has a twist lock so you know its 100% airtight! That’s why I got those ones instead of the bamboo ones from Kmart :)

The pantry looks really nice. But WHY use those ugly black labels? Why didn't you purchase ready made labels from Amazon? You purchased the label maker from Amazon. The black labels look so cheap and ugly.
