Storing onions and potatoes together makes them sprout and rot faster. They will last longer if they are kept in separate baskets! Took me waaay too long to learn this!

Before you go and buy all the spices that expires think of you really need/use them. I know I have some that expired and I didnt replaced them because I never reach for them.

I couldn't agree more about wire shelves, we plan to swap ours out next summer for wood shelves, there is a simple, cute and affordable option on Pinterest!

You didn't need to throw away all that stuff!! Dried spices and canned goods will last well beyond their expiration dates...

2-3 years expired though 😱 I couldn’t hold on to those anymore lol! We kept all our canned goods though 🙌🏼

@@MoreWithMorrows I keep expired spices if I haven't opened them. I think they are technically still good just not as potent or as many nutritional benefits. But yeah 2014..yeah byyyyyyeee!haha

Alyssa Ruiz currently doing that. It is taking me four days+ to reorganize my kitchen as I keep losing momentum. I also feel good as I reduced a surprising 4 jars of icing sugar I didn’t know I had down to 1+ 1/2 jars. And now other container can be washed & used for something else!

If you like the layout of it the pantry wrap foam board in a contact paper that you like. Make sure you trim the foam board to have a back as well. That way you can slid the back piece between the shelf and the wall. It will hold up, look nice and will be a cheap fix for the time being

Never thought of putting bread in a bin. I bet that saves it from getting squished. That's a problem I struggle with because the kids are always setting stuff on top of it. Thanks for the awesome ideas! 💕

We dedicated that bin just for bread, bagels, etc. so in case I do throw bread back in there, it won’t squish what’s already in there 😆

We bought sturdy shelves from Costco for our pantry ...we loved them so much when we sold our old house we took them along to our new house...what we liked about them is that you can configure them to the height you want..

FYI... When I use to do the cereal in the containers I use to strain the cereals in a colander to get rid of the dust from the bottom of the bag. My son was picky on seeing that stuff. Now the kid don't even eat cold cereal anymore.

Custom is the way to go. A little more expensive (my hubby owns a carpentry business so I know pricing) but to me it just holds its value so much better then things like ikea that don’t really add character at all.

Its looks better than before as its really looks nice.. So A kitchen rolls should be on the ground floor with a large basket and it's would looks nice and the shelves would have more a spaces left. But I can't tell u what to do. If its would u feel comfortable with it to leave it on as that's fine! These are so great!

This gives me a good idea for my in-laws pantry we want to redo our pantry eventually :) and you could always do like wooden shelves in there that’s what we have.

Did you just look at the dates but not looked at if they were "Expired on", "Used by" or "Best before"? Because "Best before" does not mean expired.

Honestly no hate here. But Please tell me I am not the only one that keeps their food in the original containers. Like cereal, flour, and such. What do you do when your container is not big enough to hold all the flour or cereal? Now you have the original container AND the new container to store. I just store my things as is like they are at the store and I dont have a problem with food spoiling or anything either. Even canned goods just set on my shelf by category (fruits, soups, tomato products, etc.). You did a very good job though. I love your channel.

They sell these wall shelves for cans it keeps everything in a single row so you can see everything. It attaches to the wall and it looks like you’d have room for it on the wall between the door and the back shelves. I believe we got ours at Home Depot

It would be cute if Frank built some farmhouse style shelves for the pantry! I would say brown but i don’t think it’d go with your running theme. Great job! I wish I had a walk in pantry!

Those file boxes are great for the freezer and fridge. I organize the freezer by meals,veggies,and fend for yourself night (otherwise called fuck it Friday haha) and freezer pops.

Giggled through this it happens to all of us.. these are items we don't think about... :) loved it.. as for your wire shelving you can add foam board to help with the tops and cover it in a cute contact paper as well, but honestly I'd custom make your own shelves in the same stain color as your table
