Can I say we all know the show is like 20 years old, Kate and Leisha don't have to apologise for everything in it. Some things age bad some things hold up, it's fine. I love the recaps and still love the original very much, we can accept that some things in it will not age well and Kate and Leisha don't need to spend all ep apologising. So happy recaps are back, many of us love it! :)

One thing I like about the recaps is when y’all mention what was going on in real life while y’all were filming. Even little things like, “I had to wake up at 4am and drive there” or “I still have that shirt” is interesting to me… I was watching this as this was the greatest show ever but this was “work” for y’all lol

When this episode aired I was 7 years old, I watched the L word for the first time when I was 15-16, now I’m watching it again at 25 and this show means so much to me. Back when I was 15 I didn’t understand what was wrong with Alice, I didn’t understand drgs and a lot of other things and now rewatching it I’m like “oh sh*t”. It’s funny because my name is Dana and Dana’s death hit so hard when I was a teenager, and it is hitting hard right now as an adult. Even though Kate hates the recapping, I love that you guys are doing this, exactly at this point in my life where I’m rewatching the show lol. So thank you! 🙏🏻💛

The reason that TiBette is still the ultimate couple is because they fought for their love, as messy and toxic and volatile as it was as times, at the end of the day, they got each other and they belonged together and they worked through their crap to finally have their happy ending. It was a messy, way unhealthy at times road but they fought for each other with as much fury as they fought with each other. They are the ultimate end game...and this is from a straight girl that's 100% a TiBetter! Just saying! ❤

With all this talk, every detail, every memory, at the time it was all very exaggerated, very peculiar. My opinion about the series has changed a lot in the last 10 years, but if there's one thing that doesn't change for me, it's how Mia is simply a spectacular actress, and she has always been and always will be the most complete character in The L Word series. I believe that everything charming about Alice was because the soul of the actress Leisha was there in Alice. I'm not even talking about literal interpretation because all the actresses are fantastic, but character construction. Jenny is very interesting, and Alice is the kind of person I would definitely be friends with, and Shane is the one that I would just 🙄

Kate is now the old aunt who doesn't care about anything 😂😂😂

They made a mistake with killing Dana off, Erin was such a comedic power the way she would react to things around her and she had such good chemistry with Kate and Leisha, personally I would watch a show just with them three and Sara Shahi (Carmen). I feel like the show lost focus and never got back fully after season 3

Funny how they don’t remember details of so many memorable moments involving their own characters’ situations… yet remember other characters’ such as Jenny’s story quite vividly. As a listener since day 1 of PANTS with Rachel Shelley, a loyal fan of the L Word, and Bette, and Tina, this episode was so disappointing, and sad to listen to all the criticisms. Maybe get the writers on and get them to explain the L Word storylines? Respectfully, Kate, Leisha, it seems like your hearts aren't really into doing the recaps, and that's ok, don't do them. Totally understand it's 20 years ago for you, and it's reliving the past, but fans still love The L Word. JMO ❤

I'm dating someone younger who has been meaning to see The L Word and within 4 days in is on season 4. She's been staying up till 5am watching it religiously, love it and have so many memories to the show, my first girlfriend ever showed me the show and I've used it as a mood setter. Kate: Wiff-waff? 😂 I'm gonna start saying that and see if it catches on with my girlfriend. 🎉

So I grew up in the deep south, and the L Word is the entire reason I realized I liked girls. I was in high school from 2004-2008 and I knew NO ONE who liked girls, and honestly didn't even know that this was an option for me. I wish I had lived somewhere else where NOT knowing what a lesbian was seems foreign, but in a small town in Alabama in the early 2000s, you guys helped me more than I can say. Now my wife and I are about to celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary, and we've been together since 2011! Also, Shane leaves Carmen because her drunk daddy tells her that being a player is just who she is (like him) and that she doesn't need to get married and ruin Carmen's life. So she just doesn't show up to the wedding. Which is totally just fucked up because like, Shane's dad isn't even around! Girl why are you listening to him?!
