She always loves us and protect us. We, her children are always on top of her list. Kahit wala na si Daddy. I hope all Moms are strong, understanding, patient and loving.

I can say that the mother is suffering from depression. She just wanted to be loved. She needs attention, affection and caring from her husband and the whole family. I know they will reconcile soon if the mother is very willing to undergo counselling.

Most of the comments tells about a mother who doesn't listen or invalidates her children's reasoning when in fact the real reason is that the mother needed the attention she demands as a wife to her husband which doesn't heard of by her daughter. From her daughter's perspective she only sees her mom as being unreasonable and immature she doesn't want to invest in helping her family overcome these issues. From what i see melody got her personality and attitude from both her mom and dad based on her reasoning it seems normal for her that her parents relationship is struggling with something yet she doesn't want to initiate a talk where everyone can get to communicate with each other properly. Kailangan pa sabhan ng staff na dapat silang anak ung maging tulay at mag initiate para makapag communicate ung parents nila. yea i get the fact that their parents are still immature with these kind of issues but. she's also a grown up smart kid but acts like "Bahala sila sa anong desisyon nila dahil malaki na sila" attitude. they all have their different issues within the family to begin with. A Mother that is immature enough to solve the issue in a proper avenue, without the call of social media. A Father that is irresponsible in leading his family and making sure that everything is ok which leads to what had happened. And a Daughter that doesn't know how to validates her Mom's feelings and reasoning. Her Mom needed someone who could listen and help her, not someone who thinks they are being invalidated. Sometimes they also have to step up and also do something if both of their parents are immature enough and can't resolve issues within theirselves. Her mom seems to be depressesd and needed someone to lean on. A mom makes bad decision as well, they are not perfect.

For me, honestly, this girl mababaw ang pagkakaintindi sa mama nya.. Kung sino lang naglagay nang PERA sa table ang importante sa kanya. Sabi pa niya "you have a car, you have a home, etc...".. Para din nyang sinabihan na pera lang habol nang mama niya sa papa niya dahil ngayon lang ng"explode" mama niya after wala na silang pera. :( Kung ako ina nang batang ito, masasaktan talaga ako dahil hindi nya naiintindihan ako.. she doesnt have to enumerate material things sa kanyang ina. Sabihan pa niya na (parang) walang trabaho at halos walang ambag dahil may kanya2 silang yaya.. This is example of culture, love and logic differences. It's always unethical to talk back to parents whether they're right or wrong but it will be unfair for the siblings especially if they have the sense, fact and reasoning logically. Sadly, m'am is experiencing depression. My Mom went through that and she didn't make sense then because she was going through something on her own. We just tried to understand her and be there for her. I pity the father because he is stressed to provide for his family and make sure the kids finish school while the wife is having a hard time adjusting to poorer life which is making her more depressed.
