6 жыл бұрынOur Panzer II ausf. L "Luchs" going back and forth for no good reason. Pretty much a Panzer II in name only, the Panzer II Luchs was a complete redesign. Only 100 Luchs were built. This is the product of a redesign in 1943 to incorporate all the latest tech. PzKpfw II ausf. L "Luchs served as a recognizance vehicle and was. Kinda looks like a baby Tiger 1. If you blur your eyes.. :-)

That thing is very badass in person. Had the privilege to be inside of it and play with it at a ww2 reenactment a couple years ago. I was crewing a reproduction Sdkfz. 222

Just out of curiosity, is all the metal the proper thickness? Where did the motor and transmission come from? Did you make the tracks yourself? Also, how much did it cost for materials? Im trying to figure out if I should even bother trying to think that it would be feasible for me to attempt to build a proper replica like this. Great work, it looks great!

It always reminds me of that small kid in school who would walk around strutting like the bigger, tough kids. Shoulders squared, chest out & chin up. But then button up (pun intended) when the real tough kids came past- that being Tiger 1.

The other (original) Panzer II had different wheels with leaf springs. Is this body the same, but with interlocking big wheels? Were old Panzer IIs rebuilt with different wheels?

Wermacht= we need a fearsome tank and more terryfing than panzer 1. And please do not focus on a beauty or cuttie, or the enemy won'fear us. German enginners and projetists= ok 🙂 Panzer 2 ausf L "luchs"= is this what you want?! Wermacht soldier 1= oh no not again......😒 Wermacht soldier 2= look!!! Is so cute and adorable.
