David, I have watched just about all of your video's and must say you are truly gifted. You have the most steady hand when comes to fine detail painting of cockpits and other aspects of the models. Have you ever thought about maybe doing a video of all your projects to show case your work?

Well done, you are inspiring me! I have not touched models for over 30 years, this is now tempting me to get back in. So much has changed in terms of availability of new materials. Keep it up!!
@destructOzap5 жыл бұрын
The same thing here, even the 30 years. I guess, I was not that bad, that times, but I get a little frustrated seeing all this mega pro models here on YT. And having lost all material and stuff over the time, does not make it really cheap, to start all over again. I took myself to the city, yesterday, ( a bigger one in Germany ) just to learn, there was not one plastic modeling shop left, to search and watch and spend some time talking about this or that or all that knew materials. Ordering things at Amazone is not the way I like it. ( especially, buying the models later on ) I am already thinking about changing to wood for that reason. Did you manage it to get back in, or are you still just watching these wonderful videos ? : ) And if, how did you start ? My thoughts are, that ( beside some basic tools ) the first step should be the airbrush and the Kompres. . Something cheap to start or something good to stay ?

@idaemonplasmo8 жыл бұрын
Actually, it is not hobby boss. All sprues are made by Tristar but he went bankrupt and hobby boss bought forms.
@Vaalaw8 жыл бұрын
Sorry I wanted to jump on this comment because I was looking for the Tristar Pz. 1 for a Spanish Civil War conversion. Are you saying that the Hobby Boss Pz.1 is the same form as the old Tristar one? That would save me a bunch!
@Vaalaw8 жыл бұрын
I took a look on Scalemates and it looks Hobby Boss has only re-released one Pz. 1 from Tristar so far. Answered my own question.

Panzer I is original Hobby Boss kit. New Hobby Boss panzer IV is Tristar. Maybe after one year, Hobby boss will have all forms from tristar.

You are very talented. These tank models are some of the best I have seen. Two questions (maybe I missed answers in the videos)...what brand/model of cement glue do you use for assembly? For 1/72 scale, what do you use for the small ropes, straps etc. to hold custom stowage onto the tanks? Thanks and keep up the beautiful work and extremely helpful videos!

Really inspiring. I hope you do another armor model before switching back to planes, I can take a lot of lessons from videos like this and apply to them to my current projects.

Tomorrow I finished bf-109 so I already switched to aircraft, but I have in plan build German BMW motorcycle r11 and desert sdkfz 222.
@Vaalaw8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the response. I am excited to see the motorcycle, I've been thinking of trying to do a 50s Triumph bike for my dad who used to have one. Also the desert 222 sounds great. I recently finished a Crusader Mk.III and I had a lot of trouble with desert weathering, I look forward to seeing what techniques you use.

Díky a držím palce.
@elennapointer7017 жыл бұрын
When I was a kid building model aircraft and painting them (often badly) I was always advised to paint the parts on the sprue, then assemble them and retouch the paint. Wouldn't that be easier than building the whole model and then painting awkward, tiny parts?

I had difficulty understanding...was he referring to a battle the Slovak army was involved in in 1931 with this tank?
@destructOzap5 жыл бұрын
As far as I understood, he was talking of 1941. Btw. This tank was under german command. So it had to be after 1938, the year Germany took over Czechslovakia.
@kaskas40017 жыл бұрын
Lovely little model! Im just wondering, is there a reason why you didn't drybrush the raised rivets with gun metal? I would have done that as a final step. But on the other side, my models don't look as good as yours! Maybe that is why :)
@idaemonplasmo7 жыл бұрын
I painted some rivets by old rust. I think that gun metal looks like new scratches but it depends on how was used.
