Great collection of images! Some of the best I've seen, and I've never seen that self-propelled gun based on a T-34 chassis at 4:19 before, very cool. The engine out of the Panzer IV at 2:30, I really like non-combat shots like that that show repairs and maintenance. And that Tiger I put right up on its side at 3:34, do you figure it was lifted off the road by engineers or could it have ended up like that from an explosion? Thanks!

It was british. The factory where tanks were produced was secret. They said only water tanks were built there. So new war machines were called tanks then.

i just can say that the panzers and all german army (in deutch = wehrmacht) was and is the best army ever created in all aspects, even when the nazy germany was losing the war they made futurist amazing weapons and machines and i guess the history never forget it... well see ya everyone ^_^

Too late. Military loan words like "panzer, blitzkrieg" and "flak" have been around since the 40s and they have been integrated into several languages.

@yiblon Well numbers are numbers like even allied troops admit that 1 Tiger match 5 shermans and usually 4 of them were destroyed. And exm. American soil wasnt bombed and industury worked whit out fear of being bombed, but German factories was bobmbed whole time and they lacked materials unlike Allies. And think this, they needed allmost whole world to defeat just Germany and Japan :) Ps:sorry my bad english (im from Finland), and im not nazi, im just telling the fackts....

no idea why the allied troops said panzerS. germans never said that. just panzer. no "s". there is no plural for panzer in german.
