Sorry to be the one to say this to you, but they will still lose. The German army and Luftwaffe had many problems towards the end of the war that hindered their ability to win, such as fuel shortages, manpower shortages, lack of experienced crews, and various other challenges. It's almost certain that the Soviets would not accept a peace deal, and I believe you know why.

They should bring them all back. Coelian was more real than the Ostwind. and the panther II did exist just with a diff turret layout. and designs for the tiger 105 also did exist just were never finished. gaijin should accept more paper designs. not to the point of WOT but to give the game more life.

True, War Thunder has it somehow fit a rangefinder in a similar way to the one designed for E-75, but in practice such a device would limit gun depression default to about +1 degree. My point still stands, that is not an E-75.

They removed those because of “historical inaccuracies,” yeah gameplay wise it would make the game fun, but come to think of it, putting something historically inaccurate in the game defeats the whole purpose of it, at that point just play World of Tanks. Not saying that War Thunder is entirely accurate… (referring to the turret of the E-100)

Except it isn't real. The Panther 2 really was very similar to other Panther variants. Main differences were it had a bit more hull armor and it had different road wheels. The one in the game is completely fake, it has the Schmalturm turret which was indeed designed for the Panther tank, but was supposed to be fitted to the Panther Ausf. F. Had the same long 75mm gun as any other Panther as well, just no muzzle brake. I doubt the long 88 would fit in that turret, but anyways as I said the Panther 2 wasn't even meant to have that turret.

That design wasn't made up by gaijin, it has been circulating on the internet a long while if I am not mistaken, which is why a lot of people don't know it is not real and probably why gaijin put it in the game in the first place.

Contrary to what a lot of people think, the Maus would most likely NOT have seen major service if the war carried to 1946. Super Heavy tanks as a whole had been ordered to stop production, but the E-Series was still being considered, and supposedly around 5 E-25's had already been built. Obviously the E-100 was being built in Haustenbeck, and while it didn't have a turret or armament even truly assigned to it, it's far more likely that the E-100 would be the only Super Heavy Tank in German Service. The one complete Maus tank built may have seen service on its own however.

Because it's existence is debatable. Only one wooden mockup ever existed. But considering that there are some more tanks in the game were this is also the case (Ho-Ri) and it has been nerfed to the ground it should be researchable

Way too heavy, this thing couldn‘t have moved, so enemy forces would have simply avoided contact with this one and finished it with artillery

Agreed. Air support and naval guns were vaporising panzers at this stage. By 1946 more allied bomber formations supporting infantry would have occurred. It started to happen during OP Goodwood for example.

To clear up any confusion, these tanks were added to fill holes in the German tech tree (at a time when things like the base Leopard 1 and T-54 (1951) were the Top Tier). Then as the timeline of the game kept expanding, this 7.0-8.0 range became less important and some holes could be filled in with other vehicles that were more modern, but similarly capabme overall, there was no longer a need to have these gap fillers, which is when they were hidden from the tech tree. For anyone pointing to comparisons with vehicoes from other nations in a similar position, it's gonna depend on a lot of factors. For one Gaijin's philosophy is bound to have changed over these many years, but also consider whether vehicles like the R2Y2 or Ho-Ri production have had their gaps filled by something similar enough to make them removable? If so, hey, maybe they're next on the chopping block. Though I wouldn't hold my breath for that. I don't have a horse in this race anyway as a proud owner of a Panther II, a Tiger II 10.5 and roughly 28 research points on a Maus (I'll get to it eventually I swear).

Historic panther II actual is a panther F with thicker hull armour. Panther’s turret is too small for 88mmL71. But Soviet have IS-3, IS-4, T-54 mod1945 in 1946.

The surviving turret is the Schmalturm designed by Daimler Benz for the Panther Ausf F. The Panther II turret was never built. War Thunder added a mistake made by a well respected author (caused by a misdated original document) which messed up the entire timeline and made it seem that Panther II was a late war design when it was actually a 1943 design that effectively died in the same year and was officially cancelled in 1944. Panther II's actual turret was the Rheinmetall Schmale Blendenausführung, effectively a standard Panther turret with a redesigned narrower front.

Насколько мне известно, вся ветка Е создавалась с условием очень высокой взаимозаменяемости модулей и униикации, поэтому, думаю, Е-75 был продолжением Тигра 2, но с изменениями в плане двигателя, трансмиссии, и тд

@@phoenixfiregame9143 So the waste of steel, but the 105mm gun with a rangefinder, and with an engine which doesn't catch on fire or break down randomly and all the time would have been a really nice touch. It works in WarThunder at least

Pls Gaijin return these... and the Sturmtiger. Maybe just as event vehicles but I'm so mad for not having the opportunity to get them because I didn't even own a PC suitable for playing when these were available... I mean the "not historically accurate" or "never where actually produced" is just not a suitable excuse, as full realism is out of the window anyways in AB and RB...

The Tiger II 10.5cm is not an E-75, it was a rejected proposal to fit a 105mm gun into the Tiger II, it was never built and isn'teven physically possible using a standard Tiger II turret. E-75 never even had a completed design it was just a basic hull shape and suspension layout. Panther II is a 1943 project that effectively died the same year and was officially cancelled in 1944.

Panther II was actually considered for a while by the West Germany to be it's first MBT that would be slowly upgraded to better versions over the 1950-1960 years. The Germans abandonend this plan as the French and Italians agreed to a design of a new european tank series such as Leopard I, AMX-30 and Standard-B.
