Pao is already the big fav. They are the current champions, none of the mains leaves, they are losing only 2 players with very small contribution, Vildoza and Balcerowsky who are getting replaced with top players. Even more so, everyone will be together for 2nd year because it was a brand new roster plus Nunn will be from the beginning. Scary.

from a PAO fan: As you said, Grigonis goes to 2 position, Huancho stays, there is no reason to let him go. He was amazing in F4 and is still valuable in CHampionship games against Oly (not underestimated importance for the Panathinaikos ortganization, the rivalry is important). We want Hezonja due to the bond we have as fans with him. For position 5, an NBA solution would be preferrable, I think it is easier for a tall guy to adjust to euroleague. On the other hand Lessort has been amazing all season, the balance of the team needs to stay there. Most important thing right now is keep the balance that we have achieved whole season. There are roumors about Motley, not sure this is the best option.

Congrats BN for this video, i really love the respect you show making this for this year's Euroleague champions PAO. I have in my mind 3 possible scenarios. First of all i take for granted that Vildoza and Balcerowski leave and Nun stays (hopefully for all PAO fans and for euroepean basketball). 1. Papagiannis comes back to PAO and we can make room for 2 foreign players (for greek championship that demands 6 Greek and 6 foreign players but you can have 7 and select 6/7 for each match) of which one should be a guard and one that can play sf that together with Papapetroy fill the sf, but can go in a pf position for some minutes in a "small ball" .(Mitogloy can also play the center position when team needs shooters so Hernagomez in pf and the new sigining in sf is not a small ball). 2. Grigonis [who is a guard playing the sf position (NOT a sf)] fills the 4 main guards (together with Sloykas, Nun, and Grant) and in a 3 guard lineup can play sf and Moraitis [who plays really decent in Greek Basket League] improves and takes the 5th guard spot. This way we can sign a good foreign center that fills Lessort's weaknesses like rim protection, defensive rebounding, free throws etc (!!!!!) and a sf. 3. Giannakopoylos goes crazy and signs 3 foreign players [one guard one sf and one center] (so we have 8 after Vildoza's and Balcerowski's departures) and depending on who is in better condition plays in Basket League. (mainly in games against Olympiakos as the other Greek teams have far less budget than PAO and OSFP ). What's you opion in this thought? I'm asking both BN and the amazing community BN have created! First of all congratulations for your great show, i believe its the best basketball show in Europe right now. As a PAO fan i would have to say that i totally agree with you as far Grigonis goes. It would be perfect if we let Vildoza go, switch Grigonis to his natural 2 position, sign Hezonja and of course retain Juancho. We will also need a center for sure, i believe the best choice would be Tibor Pleiss, if he is available. He is 34 but is a very tall 2.20m center with great mddle/long range shot for a big guy and he can still give 10-15 good minutes for sure, just enough to give Lessort some breathing room, without upsetting the chemistry we already have and seems to work. I believe that was the intended role for Balcerowski anyway. I would not like to see Papagiannis returning though, he never made any progress and made us a real favor leaving and letting us invest his 1m+ contract elsewhere.

PAO needs a tall 5....a clear 3....and possibly a player in Vildozas shoes...Huantcho would be a great loss if he leaves...he is a perfect combination with Dinos.HE glued defensivly the team, for Grant and Kedrick to make the series of greek championship 2-2,not for sale,he ll be even better next year,we might even bring his brother here,lol...p.s. if u havent seen the greek finals PAO vs Oly,watch it,last match today....Mathias cant make again the hole seazon "alone",we need a tower 5...dont care for the cheaper,we care for the BEST,to come to THE BEST☘👑💚...3 players...see u in Barcelona😉...good job guys,u could be more thorow,but its still kind of early for the transfer market,especially with the Olympic Games...

Can Kevin Porter Jr or Lorenzo Brown be a good fit for PAO or would there be too many players in positions 1-2 that need the ball and what we need is Calathes who passes, plays defence, knows the organisation and always leaves his heart on the court? Also who would fit best in position 5 as a backup to Lessort: Moneke, Ibaka, Teis, Motley or Miloutinov?

Colson suits, Ojeleye would also be great at 3 (he extended with Valencia, though), Ibaka at 5 (in talks with Real...). Pana has enough delicate players (irrespective of talent)

Panathinaikos need to make smart moves, not sign more star players. For example they could sign Leandro Bolmaro at the backcourt. Size, playmaking, defense, cheap and would accept to be a role player. I agree that Bonzie would be amazing fit for SF. Diallo as well. And then they need a big C. Over 2.10, with power and stamina.

Are you for real? There is no reason to let Juancho leave in order to get Bonga, LOL! Juancho will stay 100%. We need a back-up Center instead of Balcerowski (Neemias Queta for example) and instead of Vildoza we don't really need a Loyd type of guard, but a better playmaker (like McIntyre) for the nights Sloukas is injured or in foul trouble. Remember what happened at the game in Kaunas. The 3rd transfer could be a big SF but that is not necessary, I would like to see Semi Ojeleye at the team.

The only thing i care about my team Pana , is for nunn to not leave for the NBA . Juancho should also stay for ever and get a 5 that would fit with Lessort

I am interested to see what happens next year if Kendrick Nunn goes to the NBA and what Sloukas can offer at 34 to 35 without Nunn... I think coach Achtarman even if Bodiroga set the same referees for all season for PAO he will lose game after game. They were so lucky when Wade Baldwin got injured, that changed the season for Pao. So lucky guy that Turkish owner of Greek taverna!
