The subtle guitars in the background, with a quiet drumming back beat, sublime. Then that pounding drumming kicks in and boooom. Magic. The horn section starts up, so 60's. You just get used to that fast rhythm, then it goes all soft play again to bring your head back down to earth. These musicians really deserve credit too. They're not just playing, they're feeling it.

Kelly Marie I took my 8 year old nephew to the Night Afore concert in Edinburgh that New Year. He still talks about how good Paolo was and is learning guitar now 😍 Frightened Rabbit supported Paolo that night and they also made an impression on him. That came from way down deep!! The soul in his voice is overwhelming. I have only seen him perform live once and it was a revelation, an experience never to be forgotten. His genius gets better with age!! There is a reason why his concert tickets are like gold dust. Paolo, there are so many of us eagerly awaiting another tour!!

I’d not heard of Paola Nutini till I met and cared for his great aunt as a carer only last week. I was a singer myself till a few yrs ago and totally love his style. Fabulous voice and the emotion he puts into it. I’m now a huge fan. My kinda stuff! Love it.
