Wow! I knew (qualitatively) what to expect, but even so, wow. Um ... ja ... er ... Wow! My teeth have all eloped together, and run off to follow the dream of becoming castanets.

Thank you Paolo for taking up my challenge - you have some Cahoones to even attempt it. You didn't pull it off this time but it was a fantastic effort. I'm a champion of this song, not because it's special to me but because it has edge and bite and stopandstart with blank empty silence in between and a 'feck offness' to it. Your arrangement - although lovely and bright - was the opposite of what "To go off and things" is actually about. Imagine the internal rage and frustration which lead tim to write this? Try a second draft if you dare with time with bits of meat and entrails and desparation hanging of it (and make sure there's space in between the beats) Go on ... I double dare you, go crazy :)
