1988... I was 9 yrs old. Hamare ghar me Phillips radio tha.. Thursday ko amin sayani ka cibaca geetmala aata tha 9PM ko. This song along with tezaab, khudgarz, jeete hai shaan se songs used to be in top chart in that program ... Yeh gaana usually no1 hota tha aur isko sune bina sota nahi tha main.. life was so beautiful then without TV , phone, internet, computer. Hamare pass taperecorder bhi nahi tha.. even news paper bhi 3km dur se lana padta tha .. TV bahut kam logon ke pass tha.. Lovely were those days. 80s and 90s ... Miss it so much

My dad passed away 17 years ago. Yesterday, this song came on my shuffle playlist. He used to sing this to me. Yesterday was also my birthday. I cried as I listened to it as it had brought up a happy memory. I asked my mom if she could sing this song for me and send it as a video recording. Best birthday gift.

I was 16. My papa bought me guitar this was my first song I played and he just smiled while I sing this on guitar is precious. Today I am 31 career wise I am not bad I am married I am having a son of 5 year old. But that 16 year magical boy who sang to his papa is gone now. Something in life is just for a while but the memories of his smiling at me will always with me
