Hello, I am a Nigerian-American. This song is about Mose Fan Fan's son who died while he was away and did not know where they buried him. This is what he said in an interview in 2017. "Fan Fan stated that he composed the song to mourn the demise of his son Lolo." Have a good weekend.

Why Congolese music is the most popular African music is because they have been able to use the most popular Western-fused instrument, the electric guitar, to translate the African spirit in music...that resonates with each one of us! The short musical phrases, repeated, interspersed with yet another short variant of the phrase. In Congo, it's known as the 'sebene'.....which is typically African, tribal, soulful music!
