People can hate on the Nu Metal scene now all they want. But shows from 97-04' of this genre had so much energy and were next level. No phones or distractions, people lining up hours and hours early to get along the barricade to get as close as possible. Baggy shirts, JNCOs went along with the passion myself and many others all had for these bands. I filmed this show and the camera shakes because not only am I filming, i'm singing along to every damn word. Nu metal for life!

Saw these guys play the first Anger Management Tour in 2000 and they stole the show. Ended up meeting Coby Dick behind the arena earlier in the day. All I remember was that he was very short and drinking a McCain Junior Juice Box lol

I remember getting to see PR play at Ozzfest 2001, I wasn't a big fan of their music, but they put on one hell of a show.

I saw them with Slipknot on an Ozzfest 2001 off date and was honestly going to skip their set and go outside and smoke or something but decided to stay since I paid for the ticket and holy shit am I glad I did.

Another gem - thanks for posting this! I saw this same tour 4 days later in Rochester, NY - I recall (hed) really putting on a great show as well. We had Not Waving But Drowning as first band on for our show.

I saw Papa Roach open for Stone Sour in a little club about 15 years ago in Los Angeles. My friend and I were surprised at how great they sounded live that night.
