Directed by Jeethu Joesph, Papanasam stars Kamal Haasan and Gauthami in lead roles. The cast also includes Niveda Thomans, Esther Anil, Kalabhavan Mani, M.S. Bhaskar, Delhi Ganesh, Anant Mahadevan and Asha Sarath. The movie is produced by Wide Angle Creations and Raj Kumar Theatres. Papanasam is the remake of the Malayalam hit Drishyam starring Mohanlal, which also directed by Jeethu. Music for the movie is composed by Ghibran.

The film was so thrilling and interesting. The film is full of twists and suspense. Kamal Hassan was awesome in the film with his outstanding performance. Songs and BGM were awesome in the film. Overall the film was awesome.

The Best Movie which i enjoyed... watch the movie only on theaters. Kamal Haasan the world class actor who can only give the real emotion, feeling, acting and all. Again I love the mover

i watched in trichy...kalayarangam+vijay Cinemas+LA cinemas=approx 3000 seats friday saturday sunday all 3 days housefull... If u think am lying check the online booking...i think this is one of the biggest opening this year....so plz dont say its not running or hit in box office without even knowing it... BTW thanks for informing me about suspect x...now lemme see how close this movie is as i have already watched drishyam,drushyam and drishya already all at the same day after watching papanasam

It is very rare when films manage to achieve a perfect blend. Papanasam is one of such films although it is a remake. It is a winner right away and I think that this film will pick up greatly from word of mouth.

Senthil Kumar R.S I donno wat to say man!! UV was on of the best movie which came this year. And the best tribute Kamal can give for his guru.. Unfortunately it did avg business in the midst of these audience.. But thats not new for his films.. They were all let down during release & then after years you ppl praise them..

Kamalhassan really acted so well if Gauthami would have been different actress. Picture really appreciated. All did best lerformance that boy's parents were Exerlant in natural acting. Kamal never show his hero as mass did it so Exerlant. Hats off

Even now its a kamal movie.S he will interfere in his work. If its his story,he will interfere. If he writes screenplay,if he directs ,if he writes dialogue he will interfere.. The korean movie Name is not Perfect murder as mentioned by Blue sattai.It is Perfect Number(since the hero is a Mathematician). but great he finds out the original version of all films.Nice review.
