Paul another win on paper two, so glad I was able to answer Ni Chuilleanain due to yours notes as we were not doing her in my own classes. I could not recommend this man enough for anyone who is doing the leaving cert next year and there after. What a legend Paul! Thank you so much!

Hamlet and Gertrude was lovely, just took a bit of thinking before writing. I posted two videos on the topic a couple of weeks ago. The 2nd question, I have to say, I liked as it was challenging and designed to reward candidates with a deep knowledge of the play. It opened up opportunities to write about justice, Claudius being undone, Hamlet's capacity for change, the depiction of Fortinbras, Horatio and Laertes. There was even room to discuss aspects of Gertrude and Ophelia. Obviously all points would have to be couched in an awareness of the play as a tragedy, but it was an interesting question.
