Measurements: It's a 3 frames animation. Black stripes are 4 millimetres each and the gaps in between are 2 millimetres. It's a very minute stripes to make with hands. It took lots of efforts and patients.

So simple... I tried it. The cutting part was very annoying. It spoilt my entire effort. I wish one could purchase a precut one that's like nylon paper and won't easily tear. Like xray material

This is brilliant and love the fact it’s practical! Great job! Have you ever or so you know how to make a rotating circular scanimation ? So instead of moving the lines across you turn over the top.

It is real! I think you have not done enough research. It's 100% achievable but very tricky. It took more than a month for me to learn, practice and finally make it perfectly for the video. The one I have made is a 3-frame animation and it's complicated. I suggest you to first learn the simple 2-frame animation by going through other youtube videos and then try it. Note that the dimensions are very important here and it needs lot of practice.
