love organizing in Google drive, I save all of my digital versions of everything important(receipts, tax, tuition payments, etc) I have a copy of everything in my personal Google drive and organized in folders, so easy!

I have a carry-on size suitcase full of paper clutter. I’ve been putting off going through it for way too long. I think this video is the last push I needed to sort it out!

I've never heard of the kid's artwork frame thing, that sounds so practical! I felt bad when my little cousin would draw me stuff and I'd have no idea what to do with it later 😅

When I moved in the fall, I finally realized how many unnecessary papers I had. It piles up so fast! It definitely feels so much better to not have all that clutter

I de cluttered my paperwork 2 weeks ago and i feel great about doing that. I keep a couple of important documents in a folder that has tabs 😊

I have one small box that I keep under my bed out of the way with papers. This is so helpful! I can eliminate a lot of the stuff that I have under there :-)

Another good thing to keep and you didn't mention it is warranty pappers but go through them montly and toss the expired ones

I have a drawing that my daughter did in 5th grade. It is framed and hanging in my living room. (She is 32 now) . I throw all junk mail.

I put all of my kids art work in a scrapbook and presented it to them when they got grown. They loved it.

It takes a while at first if you are the type to scan documents before you throw them out but it is soooooo worth it. Good luck!

I also suggest getting a fire proof safe. They come in all sizes. I got mine at Staples. Put your important papers in it. You can lock it and they are very heavy. So they are not easily stolen.

Just my opinion but I think you should have a will even before you have kids. You have assets like your savings and your IRA and if anything were to happen to you, your estate could go to your mom and sisters or niece and nephew. When you have kids you can change it as necessary. Nothing will happen to you (!) but my point is will's aren't just for people with kids.

Hi Kyra! Just yesterday I decluttered bunch of my recipe papers. Cutted out my favourites and glued them into my notebook. I live in Estonia. Here we can keep lots of important documents digital. Love your videos!

Letting go of artwork is definitely a struggle!! I try to take pictures of it then it's stored in my Google photos

I have scanned all of my artwork when I was a kid, I have everything on digital form and I got rid of the physical papers.

So I'm having to scan some of the older receipts for the auto work. My question is do you save the scan as a pdf, ping, jpg - what? The clarity is better when I save it as a picture rather than a pdf. But how long will these extensions be available in the future and should I think about that when I'm converting things to digital files?

Hate it when I'm cluttered with car dealership ads! Just kidding, I completely agree with your view. There should be no attachment no matter the nature of the item. If you don't need it - away with it.

So I've been the type of of person for two years to keep my receipts (takeout, grocery store, textbook etc) how long would you recommend/advise to keep them ?

I was like that too. I would recommend check the receipt f.e. if you bought clothes it usually says on the receipt till when you can bring them back f..e 14 days. What I don't keep are the receipts from the stores I know I will not go to again any time soon f.e. if I was on a trip in another country/city and if that store is not near where I live, than even if I find a chlothing is let's say ripped I know I won't be returning it since it would cost me more to go back there, so those I toss right away after I check the prices. I would say keep only the ones from products which have a long warranty time f.e. PC, dishwasher,dryer, curling iron etc. Check out the return policy for each store you go to and check within how many days you can return the item - keep that receipt for that long.😄

I recently had my phone stolen, and in there I had a login sheet.... That is SO scary and uncomfortable, since I may not remember all the things on there and thus where to change my passwords :(
