1. It is "Time of our lives" and 2. The album's name is "The Afterlove" and not "The Afterlife" -.-

I'm not sure exactly what pattern he uses, however, because the song is 3/4, most 3/4 strum patterns work fine for the song, unlike 4/4 tempos. I find I can simply play "down down down" twice a chord, and the song will still sound great.

yes i agree first james blunt album in 2005 i love ed and james but Blunt was there before and his voice is far more beautiful
