Life saver, brother! My daughter was trying to play with my folks’ old TI-5155 and I was thinking it was something way more complicated. Tried feeding the paper through each little hinge and then through the rubber turnstile, to no avail, After seeing this video, I felt like an idiot. Threw the paper down the back slot like you showed and eureka! The paper magically comes out the front slot showing the numbers I imputed. Can’t thank you enough.

It's 7am and I'm at work frustrated because it's been forever since I've changed one of these and I can't get my cash drawer done until I fix it. This video helped me fix it. Greatly appreciated man, thank you

Very nice video series! I have the Sharp EL-1901 (paperless). I was wondering how does the 2-key rollover feature work for you? I am used with the tenkey from the computer and typing 4-5-6 in rapid succesion on the Sharp, only register the "4" for me. If I hold down "4" and press "5", then it does not register the "5". Do you think mine is defective?
