this shredder is made from washers,each washer is sharpen so it can cut the paper,on small and big washers i made small cut so they fit on rod,on the rod i put flat steel so the washers turn all together,you don`t need no gear to turn each rod to oposite direction that is solved by washers and spring on each rod,it works fine,it takes some time to put it together but when it is completed you just shredd paper over and over,it will not jam never,and it is big so you can shredd complete A4 paper on longer side without problem

My guy! You are brilliant! I absolutely loved the simplicity yet genius of using one welded nut on each bearing carrier so that a bolt driven down would not only capture a bearing, but BOTH ANNND the single bolt also splayed the bearings outward making for a perfect hold… i want to adopt you

Shredder that you can buy at shop has two shaft as mine,but my shredder don't need sprocket on each shaft to turn,on my shredder that job is done by friction of washers pushing on each other,and it is fun to work with it

On verbal delivery good as it gets, details with some pertinent facts- good as it gets, DI from scratch, again- one of the best. Nice, I will take these words back, but short videos like this (that is- yours), are what many do not achieve. I speak, of course, in the name of people have the right to life and/or die, the "movements," of the 21st. century, as well as the Face of The Higher Power be searched for. Again, THIS is worth watching.

Hello, Mladen, I watch your videos, you are a true diy person. I also work with paper. with mulch paper in water. I even put onto a wall as insulator in thin layer, mixed with cement and lime. and I make some papercrete potery for my wife, potery wich has a nice texture. This is how I prepare mulch paper: any recyclable paper, tear apart with hand in pieces, often in large pieces, newspaper, flyers, old books, cardboard boxes ( the veak cardboard is the better) , left in water to soak 1, 2 or 3 days ( depending on spare time) but not more because start to have a nasty smell. then take 2 bucket add 1 or 2 bucket of water ( partialy reused from same procedure) and mix well with an paint mixer witch has atached a 11 cm diam., wood blade for angle grinder. Mix till no big chunks, then put to drain , then put to dry. then use after need, to pottery, or else. My questios is, the paper will soak better if is in small, or tiny pieces? because, I prepare with big chunks let to soak.. then mixed to make pulp, and is not an easy task.. I have an ideea to make a paper shreder similar with yours, but instead of washers, to use a single row of 10 angle grinder for wood, with reinforced theeths , powered with small old washing machine. will work? thank you, and wish you many practical ideeas.
@Mladen365
@Mladen365 9 жыл бұрын
emilianos333 paper will soak better if it is in small pieces,to increase the soak proces you can use this my way how i do that for briquettes and you dont have to wait 2 to 3 days to soak,you can start use it immediately kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mK9gh8xhzNO7c6s.html,i am trying to power almost everything with my diesel engine or my hand to save my electric bill,but you can make that shreder it will work

Hi Mladen, I have found that the paper absorbs the water better and is easier to mulch if the paper is cross-cut. I currently use a office x-cut shredder for my paper briquettes. Is it possible to alter the profile of the washers to cross-cut the paper strips? Great video.

Hi maiden can you give the materials needed on this shredder because I don't know the size of washers did you use? thank you!

Washers are 5 cm with inner hole of 1.5 cm,you need two shaft of washer inner diameter,4 bearings,on each washer you have to make small notch so all the washers will turn at same time,put all together and you have paper shredder
