Renee! I'm sure you have done your homework after making this video, but you just bought a fortune in designer clothing. I spent most of my other career in the luxury retail world and know all those brands. The Lanvin piece alone will probably bring you a couple of thousand if sold through the proper venue. I just want to say as the wife of a 20 year Navy veteran I thank whoever the military gear belonged to and I pray he/ she came back home safely! It really touched me seeing that box of military gear and it makes me stop and think about the person who used the gear and hopefully he/ she just stowed the stuff and forgot about it. God bless our military members and our police officers who put their lives on the line every day.

That last mannequin you pulled out is actually a dress form. The collapsible shoulders are for getting tight dresses, etc. over the top for fitting. It looked like you don’t have the stand that should go with it but you could probably buy one. Dress forms go for $300-$800 used, depending on the brand. That one looked really clean which is a big plus. What a fantastic haul! So much fun to watch. Really looking forward to your upcoming videos.

Wow! My dear you hit the storage jackpot. Like the other posters said, do researching, this isn't your daddys flea market stuff. That alpaca rug that size is around $ 249. I agree with the dress form, its high end, $700-900. Who knows about the designer patterns & client list, could be endless depending on who it is. Can't wait for part 2!

Great score! For sure, do your research, especially on the dressmaker things. Some aspiring designer might like the packages of patterns and what looks like the muslin mock ups of the patterns. That last dress form is fabulous! FYI, the vintage "slip" is actually a nightgown. Slips have adjustable straps, real vintage, prior to about 1970, have metal slides. Your nightgown looks to be 40's or earlier. Look for a label on the inside, side bodice, or side seam of the skirt. Depending on condition, possibly good money. And yes, do due diligence on the lanvin dress, that could pay off your teeth! Lol

Those are dress forms. My late mother was a seamstress. You have a lot of fashion-industry materials and ephemera. Those forms alone are worth a bit of cash. You would probably do well to solicit those to a NYC market, the fashion district, fashion schools and custom dress makers. Very interesting finds. Well done!

These higher-end garments need to be handled carefully. Cloth gloves to prevent snags and runs, garment bags to keep dust and dirt off. They will do really well in an online auction, congrats!
