8 years and still keep coming back to this

I've literally been coming back to this poem repeatedly for 9 years and it still heals my soul

Still my favorite poem on KZfaq. Still brings tears to my face. I love you, Mary Fons!

This poem has stuck with my for the past decade I heard it as a teen and it hit me to my core. Wish everyone in the world could hear it.

Has been and always will be my favourite poem ever.

I've come back to this for years now and sometimes hear Mary's voice in my head when I think "but I love you." Forever relevant, even when I don't have anyone specific in mind. If only they knew what I'd do for them.

Every few years I remember to listen to this to help ground me no matter where I am in my romantic life. It soothes me.

This made me cry 12 years ago and apparently still does.

There is something about this poem that makes me feel so cozy inside

The length of this video is my birthday, funnily enough. I’d like to think I was meant to see it. I’ve seen it for years, over and over, basking in the wonderful poetry and performance that this video holds. I watch this any time I find myself longing for a love that isn’t meant to be mine. It doesn’t soothe my aching heart, but it does remind me that one day, there will be a love meant for me that will finally be within my reach.
