When this man Papoose gave us thought provoking masterpieces like Alphabetical Slaughter, Law Library, and Sharades, don’t tell me I’m wrong. You can’t find much else from anybody who made pieces with wordplay on that level. Especially, if we go back to factoring in the degree of difficulty some of those very tracks possess. A true showing of pure lyrical genius that’s a real separator among the rest. That has to be acknowledged. Gets overlooked because he didn’t attain mainstream stardom. Real ones know, though

@bhill005 word play is great but not on my top 10, Big, JAY, Nas, Rakim, Big L, Jadakiss, AZ, Drake, Cool G Rap, Lil Wayne, KRS1 (That's a few different eras if you didn't notice and 11 not 10) and I didn't even go to underground or include any west coast. Papoose despite popular opinion is a mainstream rapper that didn't make it because he wouldn't make certain compromises contractual. But he's dope. And my list was for Lyracist only. If we added just talent he probably wouldn't make top 25. Tell me this freestyle was better than Tsu Surf i95 freestyle (Talent wise) or Lux and Daylyte (Lyrically). Papoose is dope just not a top 10 all time great
