Pappadavada
Ingredients
1)Pappad - 8 to 10
2) Raw Rice - 1 ½ cup
3) Bengal gram flour - ¼ cup
4) Salt - to taste
5) Chilli powder - 1 ½ to 2 tsp
6) Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
7) Asafoetida powder - 1 to ½ tsp
8) Cumin Seeds - 1 to ½ tsp
9) Sesame seeds - 1 to 1 ½ tsp
10) oil - 2 cups
Preparation
1) Soak the rice for 2 hours.
2) Grind into a fine paste.
3)To it add the other ingredients and Bengal gram flour.
4) Add salt & sufficient water & make into a fine batter without lumps.
5) Dip each pappad in the batter & fry carefully in moderately hot oil till done.
