The Bible is not an easy book to read, but it is not so easy to grow crops amongst the weeds. One feeds the spirit & the other the body. I "think" God designed it that way. Example: Ham saw his fathers nakedness. It was not until Leviticus that I understood. Yes, Eve did say "touch" which in Hebrew = Nagas which means "to lie with a women". Dictionaries will send us on a bit of a trip, like "comes from some other word's root. I've always had a difficult time with this because we have to pick out the one that fits. And, sometimes it don't fit until we read somewhere else[in the Bible] that adds to our understanding enough to change which word fits better. I don't think we can avoid forming opinions as we read. What is for sure, we are trying and that counts; I THINK. I've noticed that what ppl, self included, disagree on has nothing to do with SALAVATION. I've been reading that Bible since I was 12. Robot............. The 8th day Adam named all the animals, but could not find a help mate. Is this a joke?!?!??. To chose what, a dog, a horse, a cat . There had to be humans in this lineup of CREATURES. Maybe a monkey. Adam was given a help mate from his own body, and she was just like him.
