So did you also notice an almost mixture of Lordship Salvation in there? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been listening to Jack Hibbs for awhile and this is the first time I hear him preach like this! Has me very nervous because I’ve seen other KZfaq pastors and others do this. Gather huge audience and then go off the rails and the sheep follow the “preacher” off the cliff into false doctrine! If I had not read the Bible over and over cover to cover and studied it and saved for 46 years I would be confused after this preaching on what I needed to do to be saved! I am taken aback by this with this particular pastor. I’m curious, what are your thoughts?

Nina I agree with you sister, I used to listen to Pastor Jack for years. I went to the church he pastors in Chino hills and I learned a lot from him but finally after 10 years in the faith I completely understood the WE'RE SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN HIM ALONE. Knowing that there is nothing I can add to it not even following Him to remain saved. Because now that I know because God has shown me the whole truth I can tell when a Pastor tip toes around the Lordship salvation line and it's sad that on one hand Pastor Jack says Jesus did it all, and then he turns around and says that it's up to us to follow Him otherwise we're lost. Didn't Jesus say that all that the Father gave Him He will lose none? What happened to the ones that the Holy Spirit seals are sealed till the day of redemption? If anything is up to me even following Him I'm doomed. Because I drop the ball all the time.

Totally agree! Boy, we have GOT to know we are in the last days when Pastors like him are flirting with false doctrine and to THINK of ALL the other big names he runs with in conferences!

@@NinaCopley I agree with you. If I didn't have a strong foundation, I wouldn't be able to watch most of the preachers that are around today. Since I am firm in my beliefs , I can watch a lot of them and take the things that are helpful to me; I worry about people who don't know much yet and are looking to them to establish their core beliefs.

And Easter this word is the God of fertility Passover and first fruits... And the ressurection are of God and are in the Bible... Amen

Mary Donovan, if you have placed your trust in Jesus' finished work on the cross covering your sins, (past, present & future) & God raised Him from the dead then you cannot lose your salvation. There is nothing we need to add other than our faith too...i be saved. Read Eph 2:8-9 & read Galations. Anything we try to add to Christ's sacrifice fi ver saved or to stay saved is as filthy rags... is spitting in the face of His sacrifice & the FREE GIFT of GRACE. Just rest in Christ & what He's done. We truly are free indeed. And doubt mistake that as encouraging a license to sin... once you truly get it you are overwhelmed by His love & want to please Him. Sure we fall short but He has it covered. Say you're sorry, brush yourself off & start again. Be blessed~

Every day of the week is named after a pagan god. Thursday is the day of Thor, the god of thunder, Saturday is the day of Saturn, etc.

Legalistic. Laws for the Jews.

Commandment four is a "ceremonial law" which was ONLY for Old Testament Israel. Ceremonial laws were a specific set of laws, for a specific group of people (Israel), for a specific time period (Old Testament). When Jesus died on the cross, He became our Sabbath. The six day work week in the Old Testament pictured man foolishly trying to earn salvation through self-righteous good works (which is impossible). The Sabbath day of rest represented our precious Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who died in our place to pay for our sins.

Gilbert D -People who place a strong emphasis on attending church on the sabbath are not rightly dividing God’s Word. And that includes not eating certain foods too.

Another point of concern is: are those who worship on the seventh day (day of Saturn) truly worshipping of the Sabbath of the OT? The Biblical calender with 360 days is different from the modern 365 day calender. Respectfully, just my humble opinion.

368400368400 true so the importance of making Jesus your sabbath as he said the sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath . And the rules traditionally put on the Jews on the sabbath have what transferred to the church . People who put such a strong emphasis on the sabbath are no longer under the grace of the lord they are now depending on their works of observing a day of the week that’s more important than every other day. We should worship every day not just one particular day. As it says let every one be persuaded in their own minds And not to judge one another Christ is not divided and we are not all the same part of the body so let us stand together and stop with all the self righteous deeds we may or may not practice. One problem I see is the sabbath people have said that the sabbath has been changed to Sunday but this is just not the case no one changed the sabbath Friday sundown to sundown Saturday to Sunday. And to say we worship on Sunday cuz Jesus rose on Sunday is just the same thing as sabbath keepers as a day to go to church. It’s not a day that’s more important than others it’s where do you stand on Christ if it’s just one day of the week you need to check yourself because if he comes for us on a Wednesday would it be any different than if he came for us on a Saturday I would hope not.

Ma S well I know ,or at least I think I know you’re not talking about Jack Hibbs ,because he does not celebrate Halloween. I don’t know about Christmas and Easter ,I don’t celebrate any of them.
