Next time, if u want to teach someone how to make a diamond knot, please use cables with different colors

the diamond knot explanation is too confusing ... "over it follow it over it follow it" you cant tell what strand is what

really hard to see with one color and a flesh wood tone over a wood table some parts I could follow some not at all

I normally use the manrope knot to transition, curious why you only used it for the end, instead of from the cobra to the 4 strand round braid. Amazing work as always, just curious if there was something that I was missing in not using a diamond for the transition.

Hey there! I use the manrope knot when I need my ends to end up at the bottom of the knot. When I need my ends at the top of the knot I will use either the footrope knot or diamond knot. Generally, the manrope knot reverses the direction of your strands back towards your project. So to use the manrope knot for a transitional knot you skip the finishing tuck to the bottom? Mark

@@Paracordguild Maybe I use the footrope...and thought it was called the manrope. But I start with a crown, then a wall, then double the strands and feed to the center.

Yes, it is in fact. My apologies. To be fair, they both have rope in the name. Anyway, I find the footrope knot easiest when I make leashes and lanyards. Thanks for clarifying!

Yeah, the two knots have a very similar name! The footrope knot is in my opinion the best multi strand stopper knot- it is both practical and decorative. I use it much more than the manrope knot, but both have their own uses. Thank you for the chat, I enjoyed it, Mark

Thanks. you were a blessing. I've wanted to make a Paracord strap but couldn't figure out how to complete the ends. How long will this strap end up? I wanted one around 48 inches. Do you know how long I should start with?
