Honestly, finding Paradis was the best thing to me. For the life of me, i can't seem to find any duo/band that's nearly as good as them. i've heard Bleu Toucan, Lewis Ofman, to name a few but there's something about Pierre's melodies and Simon's voice (oh that voice) that just hits home perfect. Was utterly devastated when i heard they disbanded. Good music like this, won't be found elsewhere. :'(

This comment had me feeling seen. Recto Verso is an absolute jewel of an album. Felt similarly about the disbanding of a group called Royksopp some years ago...such is the sad and beautiful reality of those rare acts that are a uniquely magnificent distillation of a very specific creative muse. Some times all the hundreds of parts come together so right one can only be grateful to have experienced it...

Check out the duo called Bent. Song is 'Magic Love'. Cool melody. And a Montreal-based electro-funk duo called Chromeo. My fave is 'Bonafide Lovin', 2nd fave is 'Don't Turn the Lights On'. Sexy voice, catchy dance tunes. You may also enjoy 'You and I' by the British funk band called Delegation.

i discovered paradis in 2018. their album “recto verso” is such a masterpiece for me. i don’t know french at all but whenever i’m depressed, sad or angry idk why but their songs made me feel like i’m somewhere which is so quiet, calm, in peace. it never changed until back then. so i just wanted to say thank u for your music. i wished that you could continue tho:(

I found this song at a teatre masterpiece in my city in Romania. Just few days ago, I've had a minor traffic incident with the principal actress of the theatre and received the invitation. God bless her, I just can't get her out of my mind. She is the demonstration that there are still good people left in this world. And by the chance, I am a truck driver and I go to France often and in my opinion, they are a great nation. So much things just happened in few days...

Lived 11 years 89 to 2000 in Cannes, for me this brings me back to all the crazy and happy moments on the Cote d’azur and Monaco and ITaly,,, love to bring back that feeling. For sure this music helps with just that Vive la France ...
