Does the C300 have eq boost and also a few questions, when you rest your hand on the touchpad to use the jog wheel does it disrupt the wheels selection, do you have ambient lighting with two colour presets? how do you get electric memory seats? And lastly does it come with multibeam led headlight and auto dimming mirrors or just rear view mirror

So in terms of the initial throttle response, is it 100% instant or can you still feel some lag? Do you really feel that instant shove from the EQ motor (at least in S+ mode)?

you get an instant shove of 1-2 mph then the petrol motor comes in. It’s not 100% seemless, but it’s pretty good.

Great review I'm torn between the c 300 or c 200 Convertible do u think I'd be happy with the power of the c200 ?

If you can go for the c300. It's a fair bit quicker. We actually did a review on the e300 which uses the same engine as the c300 check it out: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qsB5i9Nomc-ahKs.html It makes the car pretty sporty to drive as well. Thanks for watching!

Hi i have basic w205 c180 manual and i want upgrade to w206 4matic c200 with this motor - do you think i ll see improvement in terms of power ? Even if its 1395kg vs ca 1700kg?

It won't be much faster but it will be more responsive and smoother to drive.

I'm due to get a new car on a 4yr PCP plan and have wanted this car for a while now. M-B are stopping production of this model summer 2022. Do you think it'd be an unwise decision to buy this spec new and keep it for 4years?

It's definitely a car worth buying. As long as you get a good finance rate you should be golden. The only issue with new cars is they lose a lot of value in the first year so my advice would be to find a 1 year old car with a few thousand miles on the clock. That way it's basically new and you won't lose a tonne of money.

@@ParagonCarsLondon Hi, any thoughts about longevity of mild hybrid battery? How many years / miles could it last until it needs to be replaced? I own 2020 c200 with 18k miles on clock (no problems so far) and I wonder to when I might expect to face problems with MHEV battery.

@@lukaszkorzeniewski1568 It's a lithium Ion battery so it should go atleast 8 years before it needs to be replaced. It's only a small battery as well so the replacement cost wouldn't be anywhere near as much a a proper plug in hybrid.

deciding between the c200 2.0, the c200 1.5 or a c43. So you would overall prefer the 1.5 hybrid? also thinking of long term depreciation is probably worse with the 1.5 considering it has a battery pack hmm interesting though

In terms of fuel consumption, 1.5 EQ boost is actually higher than 2.0, not sure why but it’s the data from Factory. Also, you might need to change battery after a few years, so personally I don’t recommend buying a 1.5 EQ boost, as even the 0-100 acceleration is even slower. But the advantage of 1.5 EQ boost which is the facelift version, which has a nice screen and new design steering wheel. but me personally actually prefer 2.0 (pre-facelift) version’s exterior look. But that’s up to you!
