The water park currently extends over an area of ​​approx. 40,000 m² and is divided into nine themed areas, which are populated by fantasy creatures (mermaids, trolls, sea monsters, etc.). The park is open all year round and represents a fictional island in the North Sea. The interior is in a 32,600 m² and 20 m high hall, the design of which is based on a shell. Rulantica's mascot is Snorri, a blue, six-armed octopus with a horned helmet. In addition to the water slides from ProSlide and Aquarena, the attractions also include Germany's currently largest wave pool, a "Wild River", a lazy river and dark ride at the same time, several water playgrounds for different age groups, waterfalls, bubble loungers and relaxation areas. The outdoor area covers another 11,000 m² and, with “Svalgurok”, has been Germany's largest outdoor water playground since June 2021, which offers nine additional slides with over 100 play options, including climbing nets, water pistols, waterfalls and a large dump bucket.
