Read the Gita, preferably Essays on the Gita. It is one of the best known books to take away the fear of death. Read all that Sri Aurobindo and the Mother have written on Death. You will find some of these in my book titled Death, dying and beyond. There are other compilations too. Basically the fear of Death is the ultimate fear of the unknown. By reading, understanding and contemplating upon the mysteries of Death, the fear is very much diminished and vanishes one day. Practice surrender to the Divine Mother and trust Her Grace. If fear grips suddenly then call Her Name. Use the discerning intelligence and tell yourself that why fear something that happens to all as part of the universal process of life.

Well, yes, conscious and integral surrender is the way towards living according to the Divine Will.
