In this video I show you how to model a parametric walkway in Revit.
it starts of as a conceptual mass family. You need to model a spline with triangular profiles at different angles, and then turn it in to a form. After that you need to model a curtain panel based family and load it in to the mass. In the end the mass is loaded in to the project and a concrete strip is added at the floor level.
Shortcuts:
UN - Project Units
CS - Create Similar
RP - Reference Plane
Al - Align
LL - Level

The metric family for the conceptual mass is under the RVT(of your revit version ) , and select English folder (Not English I ) for the metric , and if you didn't find it you can copy the folder (English) from any computer that has the same revit version and paste it in the same destination .

Everything goes smoothly until I import the parametric model family into my architectural project. My computer slows and keeps regenerating and processing the family. Any way to fix this?

@@cutegal1997 had the same problem and in the end it "did" bring in the family into the project but i couldnt see it, don't know why. try dragging the family into your project and not importing. 7 months later writing this but hope it helps somehow

Some knows of a way to unwrap this kind of structures? I thinking it would make for awesome and cheap models if you could print the geometry on cardboard and cut it out.

As far as I know there is no way to do that, maybe with Dynamo, but I'm not an expert in Dynamo..
