Hailey sure is a massively talented vocalist. The lyrics run deep. I remember not fully understanding what’s going on in this. It’s kinda one of those situations where stuff grows on you as the years go by. That’s when you’ll start to appreciate them more.

I heard the chorus of this song only a few times when I was younger, it felt repetitive. Being a young adult I realized how amazing it would've been if you get to meet the right person, you'd probably be near speechless to tell them how much they mean to you and this song speaks on your behalf. April 28 2024 today is the day that i woke up and just hated everything, things seems so scattered and no point to repair the tiny bits of pcs, but then hearing the voice of my beloved seems the only exception from the chaos. Yes and no....the song brings back the memories and not the person, but the memories are just as important as the person. Every single person that comes into your life will influence you in one way or another, some people more than others. Those who we have romantic attachment towards carry special significance even long after they leave us. I can speak for myself in saying that I dedicate this song to someone special in my past, because she taught me that there is someone out there for me. Even though it ultimately wasn’t her in the end and she’s long gone (I doubt she even remembers me), I haven’t forgotten that lesson she taught me, even now that over a decade has passed and I thank her for that. This song reminds me of my time with her, but more importantly the lesson I learned from her. Even though she wasn’t my only exception, I’ve learned from her that there is an only exception out there for me. I think of what we went through and even though we may have needed to go our separate ways, there’s no reason to believe that what I went through with her can’t happen again. Just think of the last few words: “and I’m on my way to believing”. I believe someday somewhere that I will find that only exception. You can wallow in every failed relationship or you could turn the light on them and use them as the path in rungs of the ladder in finding your true soulmate and that’s why the memories are so important. This song always carries a special place in my heart because of that.

This was mine and my ex girlfriends song. We both didn't really look for love, because from what we had seen in the past it didn't seem like it was a good option. Then we both met each other. I had the most wonderful 4 years of my life. And then it broke down, "maybe i know somewhere deep in my soul, love never lasts" We always knew. Love does last, relationships with the wrong people don't. She was my exception. I have stayed single since, shes been with people, And I want her to be happy more than anything. I guess really what I'm saying is, love even when you aren't loved. spread positivity. It'll come back to you. I might have a hard time dealing with this, but I'm blessed with much more in life. Life is a roller coaster, you might as well throw your hands in the air and scream, cry and laugh. Got to enjoy the ride, the line is too long to have another go. EDIT: Wow, I came back and realised I had many messages youtube just hadn't shown me. I'm so glad you all resonate with what I say. I think its even more important in a frightning world we currently live in. I'm getting better all the time, and growing. I sometimes hear this song and think of that time again, and I have a smile on my face. It was great time in my life and I'll never forget it. I'm on my way to believing.

I can imagine that, because it's true. This song has her feelings and emotions in it. The motivation that made her song so good was true, the counterpart was false. And that's why love is for you, not for others. It only matters to you, not your partner. The song has true fellings, it just can't be true because of the true nature of what it represents. And for us it's only a good song, that tell us one sweet lie, that is true for a second.

I never listened to Paramore until I met the first girl whom conquered my love. We were on our way back from Six Flags, 5 months into our relationship, she played this song before falling asleep on my lap on the car ride home.
