I remember listening to this song when I was doing chemo last year. I lost it when she sang “It’s not that I don’t feel the pain, it’s just I’m not afraid of hurting anymore.” I was ready to die at the time but glad I made it out.

It’s 2021, I’m 29 been listening to paramore since the very beginning when I was about 14, this song has gotten me through many many dark times even as an adult.

I just want to share my experience with this song, in hopes that someone who needs it comes across it: I first heard this song when I was in university, failing a class. While waiting for my final grade to come out, I bawled my eyes out to this song. It was on loop for about three days because I didn’t know what else to do to keep me sane. I passed the course. In the in-betweens, I would find myself going back to this song whenever a big stressor came my way. It sounded like home - it sounded like a second chance, like hope. Now, I’m in medical school and I’ve been having really bad battles to deal with. I almost quit in my first year. This song saved me. I haven’t been feeling okay mentally with everything that’s been going on recently. I’m listening to it now (coronavirus time) and the mere sound of the guitar reminded me that I went through so many things (and almost-failures) just to get to where I am now. It’s giving me so much strength to continue, no matter how bad it’s looking for me. This song really means so much to me and I’d like to thank Paramore for bringing it to life. I know my hardships won’t end anytime soon, but it’s great consolation to know that I have this song to run to when I’m in need of a good cry/release. To anyone out there who’s reading this, *keep going, and trust in your spark.*

Got "It's just a spark, but it's enough to keep me going" tattooed on my arm 2 days ago. Totally original tattoo, I know, but this song and that line perfectly describes what I went trough fighting for a will to live when being depressed and suicidal. It's a reminder to always keep looking for that spark, how tiny it might seem at times.

This is my brothers favorite band. He died February 21st 2015. I know 5 years has past but i only feel him still here when Haley sings. His birthday is March 23rd and this is how i celebrate his birthday. He would be 24 this year. Every time i listen to this band it brings me back jamming into his car while he sings (horribly) at the top of his lungs.

I finally got to see Paramore in Seattle. Finally. After nearly 20 years of listening to them, and 16 years since I tried to get my parents to let me see them when they came around before. They played this song, and before the show my friend met me at the venue and gave me a bracelet that says "Last Hope" on it. When it came on I nearly broke down crying. Last Hope has got me through some excruciatingly rough times. The high I rode on the couple of days following the concert was absolutely unmatched. In other news, the show inspired me; and I decided to pick up my first Guitar, it'll be here in a few days. Gonna teach myself to play. It's always been a dream to write music, much less play it or.. anything, really. Love y'all. The 8/9 Seattle performance was nothing short of magical and I hope Hayley recovers quickly.

I had this clip on my favourites for years now and every time I listen to it, it just gets better and better -- this song gets me every time

I was 13 when this song came out. I was in bed because I had a surgery on my legs cos I was born with a problem on both legs. That year (and a half, the surgeon went bad and had to be repeated) where very hard for me in which I barely left my house. I didnt receive any visits from any "friend" and only my family accompanied me. In the middle of loneliness I found this song on KZfaq. The lyrics touched me when I readed them... i cried a lot. It was like i had the feeling that these lyrics was written for me. It was the extra support that i needed. I started listening to more of Paramore. It was incredible. Each song in some way touched my heart and made me feel better, either by hope, joy and much more feelings. What I want to say is that Paramore have changed my way of figth and overcome with that situation. Maybe I would be such a very different person now... Thanks you paramore, I love you. You saved me. The person that im now exist because of you. You will always have a place in my heart. This song is so weird to me, at the same time she recorded this I went to live my dream to meet the UK, not knowing that it would be the most tragic part of my life, as soon as I got there my parents didn't want me back they canceled my tickets to fly back to Brazil, probably thinking that I would get rich or something, my money was over, I could not work since they don't accept anyone outside UK to work, I was in complete despair, I dyed my hair blue, I found some free music lessons to calm my self down, I washed so many dishes and worked so hard just to get humiliated and robbed, I left London and went to Brighton, had the most fun ever, got to a point where I did not minded sleeping at the streets, starvation became normal, praying the whole day not to drown myself into the ocean, I made the most unusual friends, God was everywhere, I knew who I was, I managed to contact people to get me back, putting some sense into my family, in 2015 I saw this, the lyrics, her hair, it was like a gift or maybe the best coincidence, my trip was hell but all about hope and finding myself, I sang this to a musician who was impressed, and somehow that experience ended a decade of depression, I want to live, wanna be an artist, still a long way but at least now I know my path, my point would be to never give up! This song holds a lot of emotional value for me, I’ve been a paramore fan for years and recently got my first opportunity go see them live in birmingham this year, this was one of the two songs on the setlist that i didn’t know and i felt such a strong connection to it the very moment i heard it. On my way back I googled last hope and cried on my way home listening to it.
