Its great. Skydiving is a total adrenaline dump for me. Paramotoring is like an extended but milder version. Kind of like beer vs whiskey. There little else that is as freeing as paramotoring.

Is that what they call 'growing old disgracefully? Make every day count because you just never know what life has in store for you. I'm 74 and my wife and I are determined to 'spend the kid's inheritance' so we spent the whole of August touring South America. With a bit more than a week left, I got acute altitude sickness in Peru and with a oxygen saturation of 54% I could have died if my wife had not realised how unwell I was. I spent that last week in hospital with three days in ICU. I had a medical transfer to sea level at Lima, and was discharged just in time to fly home to New Zealand. The experience left me feeling old and vulnerable, so I am making every day count now. We have another big trip planed for next year, but I am never allowed to go to altitude again.
