Please join me as I revisit a cross country flight from last year that left me stranded in a corn field outside of town. With a few tricks up my sleeve this time I put my paramotor back in the skies for one more round !!! I didnt hear no bell..... ;)

Lol thank you, but still managed to put my wing in the beans so didn't quite go as planned lol ;)

@@BartBerry I landed a bit short and in the soybeans on my last flight. They were only a foot or so tall, but i was surprised how bad the cells of the wing got tangled in the beans.

Glad ya showed it who is the boss! I had two failed launches last night trying to do a 90° crosswind. I was too wore out to do a 3rd. You’ve inspired me. I’m gonna go do it again tomorrow morning😁. Thanks for the motivation buddy!!

The mid range issue is the pop-off pressure of the metering system of the carb. The metering spring can weaken over time, and/or diaphragm hardening, and/or metering lever wear, over time changing the amount of fuel metered. It affects the entire range, but can be quite noticeable at mid range cruise where the high jet just starts to come in to play. A carb rebuild, along with setting the proper pop-off pressure with a gauge to about 14-15psi, and proper metering lever height should make the mid range nice and smooth. There is more to rebuilding a carb than just swapping in new parts, but you can get lucky with just dropping a rebuild kit in without a gauge and it come out fine, but its best to just use the gauge and get it right. This is almost always overlooked and why you see a lot of people having issues after a fresh carb rebuild. Jason has a gauge he would likely let you use. If you cant find anyone up there to help you, you can bring it down to me (McCordsville, NE side of Indy) and I will rebuild it and set it up properly for you.

@@BartBerry Good deal. That will set you right up. Get the pop off right, and the lever height right, it will run smoother than the factory tune.
