Yes we should extend warm welcome and help them get good quality medical care, but we also shouldn’t lie to ourselves about misuse visa and immigration loopholes for the past decade or so. This is not an India problem, it’s a worldwide issue. The reason given is varied…once a colony gets established then they slowly take root.
